I was looking for a pair of suspenders that would clip into the belt loops instead of gripping the belt. This design allows me to wear my base layer pants under my waders and not tear the lining.

I added the First Lite Suspenders to my kit to pair with my Obsidian Foundry pants, and I’m honestly impressed. The G-hook system is simple but super effective—it keeps everything in place without digging into my shoulders or getting in the way when I’m moving or sitting. I’ve worn them on long hikes and while glassing from steep terrain, and I barely notice they’re there. They’re also easy to unclip when I need a break or want to adjust layers. If you’re tired of belts digging into your waist or shifting around, these are a solid upgrade.
