Where to Use
I love these suspenders. If you have ever bought pants from another hunting company, replace their suspenders with these. The have a simple locking feature on the ends, which keeps the suspenders attached at all times. They are super adjustable and stay in place really well. Simply amazing.
The clips on these suspenders are awesome. Unlike other suspenders on the market you don't have to worry about the coming undone or wearing on your pants. The straps are just wide enough that they do not cut into your shoulders and are very comfortable.
These suspenders are perfect. I’m 6’2” and the suspenders that came with my Sitka Timberline pants are too short and don’t fit me at all. Whatever material they use is not nearly as good as these from First Lite. I did some redneck alterations with a needle and thread and was able to fit these onto my Timberlines. These along with a few other pieces have me leaning more and more away from my Sitka gear.
Well thought out. The way they attach is genius. Hold good weight and comfortable. Color is neutral for multi-use. Cost is appropriate. Bought 1 and then ordered 2 more. A+
I always get my hunting pants a little bigger to compensate for layering. Hunting from a saddle, this makes wearing belts very uncomfortable. I tried this route and was very pleasantly surprised. Awesome piece of gear and greatly increased my level of comfort from a saddle. They're very easy to adjust and withstand the high level of quality that you'd expect from a First Lite product. Priced very fairly as well. I just ordered another set.
I love wearing suspenders when hunting. Wearing a belt under the waist belt on my pack is very uncomfortable and usually my pants end up being pushed down. With suspenders my pants stay up and comfortable all day long. I’ve used these for 5 seasons and they are still going strong. Great system for attaching to pants. I’m buying another set for another pair of pants so I don’t have to switch them out when I change pants.
I have been inundated with comments about my plumbers crack ranging from coworkers to my own children. Wanting to prevent further judgement and also prevent grass, pinecones, or small creatures from getting to my nether regions, I decided to give these a try. Like the title says.... They work. On top of that they don't cause any discomfort with my bino harness or pack. Overall, these do just what they need to.
For the $, you will not find a better investment for your gear. I forgot how great it is to have suspenders. Hate my pants always slipping.. even with a cinch belt, with a stand or pack they get pushed down. This keeps your pants right where you want them. Sit down and stand up as much as you want. No more sagging. Can use on any brand pant. Clips are super secure. Light weight. They do not slip once you adjust them. Great product!
While wearing a plate carrier, battle belt, and a normal belt I kept experiencing pinching between the two belts. My pants would also sag with all the weight. Using these allowed me to remove the pants belt. Now I have no pinch points, my pants stay up, and my shirt tucked in. I can also position my battle belt lower in a more comfortable position. These suspenders work great and I don't feel them at all underneath the plate carrier. Highly recommend.
Okay, they're suspenders, and most of us never wear them in regular life...but for hunting purposes, they're a game-changer! I've always fought discomfort and pinching around my waist/hips when wearing a heavy pack over a belt, but after so many miles even the best-fitting pants seem to start sagging if I don't wear a belt. These suspenders are exactly what I needed! Small and comfortable, they keep my pants where they should be and I forget about them. I've had ZERO issues with any interference or discomfort under my pack, and I can't imagine myself ever hunting without them now. Plus, you get to feel like a lumberjack from the old west, which is a pretty good feeling!
