This is my second pair and not the last. I have no complaints and so comfortable.
Love the fit. At 6'4" I'm lucky to find a sock that covers the calves. These are the perfect fit for me. I love the tighter compression. I like the fact they are a mid weight sock so I can use them for hiking too and they won't be too warm.
Compression socks really help with blood flow during the hunt which makes for an easier recovery at the end of the day. For multi-day ventures where you might cover 70 of off-trail miles, I'll take all the help I can get of keeping my feet happy.
These socks are great for medium cold weather. Rinse in a creek and dry quickly on a limb and they are ready to go. The only negative is the fit. Size 10 and under, order small. The description says 10 and under small, 10 and over large. Sounds like the magic size is 10. No really. Heal pocket is way up the back of your ankle if you are a 10 and order large. Other than that, great sock.
I’ve been wearing these steady since I’ve gotten them. They are great for wearing with my Lacrosse boots for a day of still hunting. I’m hoping they hold up. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they are realllly tight. I dried on low heat the first time, but now air dry. The heel looks like it could start to break down quick too, but it might be the boots causing it. They are pretty tell and go to my knees. Will be getting a few more pairs.
Was told these are a replacement for the Mountain Athlete Compression Socks, with more padding and increased durability. Mountain Athlete sock were perfect for me, with no fitting or use issues other than they didn’t last as long as other FL socks. These fit different. These are too tall, going up to my mid knee even though 6”1’ so have to roll the top down, really tight on the calf cutting circulation (I have small calves so shouldn’t be an issue), and are looser not as snug on the heel & toe areas as the MA Compression were. Still preferred to every other brand sock but not the same as MA Compression
