Where to Use
I am a hat guy. This is the most comfortable hat I have ever put on my dome.
I absolutely love this hat. I wasn't sure about the leather strap to tighten but it's very comfortable, so much so it feels like a fitted hat. Love the look as well. Great job
This hat has literally made me shelve my other hats. Of all the hats I own, there is no better. I have a slightly smaller than average sized head and it fits great. I also wear glasses and this cap sits high enough on my forehead that it doesn’t press down on them, limit my field of vision or bunch up in the back. I can wear this hat for hours and not even require an adjustment. It is extremely comfortable and lightweight. Everything you would expect from a First Lite product. If you are searching for a low profile hat to comfortably fit your head, THIS is the hat you’ve been longing for. I love all the colors too, works great from the field to the farm to the first date. Crossing my fingers for a blaze orange version in the future!
Its hard to find a hat that i actually like to wear, First Lite did a great job designing the Lo Pro hat. The quality from the material to the adjustment band is top notch. 5 stars!
I recently purchased this hat to wear while antelope hunting and it's the best hat I own! It's comfortable, breathable, and doesn't give you that wearing-a-hat-all-day headache like other hats I own do. I also like that it's low profile and fits my head without sitting on top of my ears. I recommend this hat to anyone who's looking for comfort at a great price.
The hat is fantastic, if youre on the fence get it. I have a rather small crown I guess because most hats fit tooo low and press down on my ears. With the Lo-Pro cap that issue is finally gone. I can confidently say that I found the one. I like it so much I plan on getting a second one in Conifer so I can have both of the flat colors. I totally recommend it, 10/10!
I’ve ordered a couple of hats online that I have ultimately never worn.... huge bummer. This one was perfect. Love the fit, love the style. No surprise though, FL is great gear all around.
This is my favorite hat I own. I love the fit of the hat and how there isn’t a bump on the top, please never change it! The leather strap on the back adds some style to it. This is the second one I’ve purchased I like it so much. It’s held up really well. Just a heads up the Camo Hats are made out of polyester and the solid colored ones are made out of cotton so they have is a slightly different fit.
My only request would be to make one in Blaze orange because I can’t wear these for majority of whitetail season. Also, make some without the orange logo in the logo because it sticks out to much to wear for Turkey and waterfowl. The colors limit the use a true outdoorsmen can get out of it. However, that is besides the point this is a awesome hat well worth the asking price.
If you are looking for a hat that doesn't mash your ears down then this is the hat to get. Not sure what some other reviews are talking about unless they didn't realize this is a low profile crowned hat. Nice leather adjustment strap in the back. The material of the hat feels very durable. If you are like me and can't stand to wear mid-high profile hats then you will be pleased with this hat.
Just received my hat in the camo color, "firs lite fusion" on 2.12.2020. As a past developer of hunting and fishing headwear for a well-known outdoor company, I'll attest to how well made this hat is. From fabric to stitching, panel symmetry to crown shape, quality of embroidery to quality of the sweatband, every detail is carefully considered and well-made. One note on the color - it has quite a bit more of a sage-green cast to the background than the product appears on the web site. I expected it to be a "desert tan" background on the camo, not a green cast. As for the fit, I have a solid 7 5/8 "noggin and my hair is closely cut (coincidentally, as of today) - so my head is the smallest in my haircut cycle... this may sound strange to those of you who have "normal" size heads, but all of you who have outsized mellons on your shoulders, like I, will relate. My point is that, even with the adjustable strap left hanging open, the diameter of the crown fit, at the top of the opening, directly beneath the embroidery on the back of the hat is too small for my head. To my chagrine, I'll be sending the hat back. I'll exchange it for one of the knit hats, which should likely fit. Fingers crossed.
