These pants are some of the most comfortable I've ever put on. The suspenders are a great added feature. They fit great however I wish there was a 30 length made for shorter individuals. I typically wear a 34x30 and the 32x32 is what I went with. I still have room for base layers.
These are extremely high quality, fit perfect, and feel great. The suspenders are a great added feature too. All the pockets are built to be extremely quiet, over all I’m sold on FirstLite.
As far as fit. I’m 5’9”, typically wear a 32x30, ordered a 32x32 and they fit perfect, so if you’re slim but a bit taller get them longer.
These pants i love more than my equinox from sitka. Much more flexible with them. Just wish these came in size 34x30. So the curvature of the knee part is dead center of my knee. Its just about an inch to low. the 34x32 is just a tad to long for guys with shorter femur but are in the 5'9-5'10 height.
Bought the foundry pants and sawtooth jacket (XL)in specter, upgraded from my old UA gear and couldn’t be happier. Great fit and very comfortable. Only issue is now I need to trade my Mathews Vertix in for the V3 so everything will match. Love the new color pattern!!
Purchased the brimmed beanie ,obsidian foundry pants and the M's sawtooth jacket all in specter. I was worried about the fit , but everything fit perfect and is very comfortable. A little pricey but I think it will be worth it. Very happy. The coat is a large, the pants a32/32 and the hat is a md.
The fit for the obsidian foundry is spot on. I ordered a 36x32 as that's my normal jean size, and they fit great. Will have room for one base layer. Can't wait for hunting season to really put them through a workout
I would rather spend a little extra on a pair of pants that look and work great than to waste money on cheaper pairs that I’ll never want to wear. Kept me cool during turkey season, so I can’t wait for bow season to start. I’m sure I can wear them into winter with a good base layer. So comfortable too, I think I’m going to get another pair for everyday use. And love the included suspenders.
Took these feral hog hunting in Texas in June. Very comfortable in high heat. No snags or other issues. Fit great over my Kenetrek boots.
Picked these up as I desperately needed a sturdy set of pants with waterproof bum & knees. The added benefit of the knee pads is something I’m looking forward to trying out in the tree saddle this October. I’ve put these through a few hikes, a couple successful Illinois turkey hunts, and a trip out to Wyoming’s Black Hills to chase Merriam’s. In that short time I’m blown away by how well these pants fit and how fantastic the features are. The ability to unzip the sides and vent heat when climbing a ridge is so worth it. Hands down best and most feature-rich pants I’ve ever owned.
Less Constriction, More Hunting. I really appreciate that FL has taken the best qualities of their best products and married them together. These pants have a great fit in the seat. I still wear Kanab v1 from time to time because I thought the fit in the crotch/gusset was looser than the K2 version and my Catalyst pants. These pants have that looser fit to me in the pinch areas because the Corrugate aspect. Much less constricted feeling in these pants which will translate into longer sits in the stand. The suspender system as well is not as binding as the old system. A more angled feel making it less pressure on the shoulders. I am really excited to get a season under my belt in these pants.
