Bought these socks for my first Elk Hunt in CO. The socks fit perfect, kept my feet dry and I had zero blisters during our week long hunt/hike.
These keep my feet cooler than any other sock. They have enough cushion to keep you comfortable as well. They are a little tight when trying to get them on but thats to be expected with a compression style sock and it makes sure your feet won't get rubbed bad.
I own almost every sock FL makes. I have couple pairs of the old styles crew sock and they are awesome. I was excited to see the changes that were made. Bought a couple of these and noticed immediately the seam inside the sock. That’s a huge deal breaker. We pay good money for these for the materials and construction, going back to a stitched toe is a big down grade. I personally can’t wear stitched toe sock for a extended period of time because I wear tight fitting boots and that seam will rub my toe raw.
Love these things. My feet run hot, but they don't get wet even in hot weather with these socks. Cuff is better than their other socks. Buy these ones!
These socks are perfection!!! After fighting hot spots on my heels all preseason in my new boots, I finally bought a pair of these to try one last solution before giving up on my boots altogether...I couldn't be happier!!! First time out, I put 8 miles on them, and my heels weren't even hinting at a hot spot! They are light enough for the warm early season hunts here in AZ, but still have enough thickness that I imagine they'll be fine into some colder temps. The collar up around the calf holds tight and doesn't slip or bunch at all. As for sizing, I wear a 14-Narrow, so I rarely find socks that fit perfectly! Bought these in L and they were great...the heel was exactly where it was supposed to be, but it still hugged my foot snugly. In short, these are the best socks I've ever hiked in, and I can't imagine I'll ever head out without a pair of FirstLite socks on my feet ever again!!!
