Fits perfect, soft, and has worked inc
Love this piece. The first time I wore it was the perfect day. Cold in the morning, warm mid day, cold again in the afternoon. The Kiln worked great Warm without overheating. Very comfortable. I am on the line between medium and large. I ordered large and probably could have gone with medium. Will definitely be ordering more FL gear.
The Kiln quarter zip is perfect. A little heavier at 250 weight , compared to previous model. Fit is a lot better then previous model. This has been a welcomed addition ,to my cold weather arsenal.
An awesome addition to my base layer for the late season. It'll also be great as an outer shirt this spring. Great fit and very warm for those all sits in the stand.
I absolutely love the Kiln! It is the perfect mid weight layer for any temp. The merinoX material regulates body temp perfectly and the natural deodorizing material is great for the whitetail woods!
Like all hunters, I have purchased and tried several types of gear, light, medium, heavy, but nothing comes close to the comfort and dependability of my First Lite Fusion. I purchased the clothing the next size up so I could layer accordingly. We have been producing successful hunts for years due to the fusion camo pattern fitting the terrain so well. I hunt the dark forest of Northern-Central Idaho to the deserts of Southern Idaho. Fusion fits from snow to desert. I have now converted 3 other hunting companions to First Lite customers and have not heard a complaint. I love my First Lite gear but what added to the gear was the customer service. First Lite takes care of their Veterans and First Responders. You can go and buy that expensive gear, but you are missing a good opportunity to get great gear. As for me, its First Lite, Idaho born and bred.
Our whitetail bow season in Massachusetts is divided into those who start early in October and those that start Mid-October. The Kiln midweight merino is the perfect early season versatile base or second layer for that very reason. It is extremely soft, comfortable, the fit is perfect and layers and breaths easily. It has performed very well when the temperatures fluctuate from the high 30s to the 70s (did that just this week). I'm very pleased with comfort and the quality. So much so that I'll be looking to order the Furnace and new bibs in the future (2021) for the consistently colder temperatures.
Love the furnace quarter zip. Have been looking for a good light weight that I could run as an outer layer early season and mid layer later in the year. So far I have not been disappointed. Will be buying the furnace bottoms at some point too. Fit was perfect even after a little shrink in the dryer. Can’t say enough good about this stuff. Thanks guys!!!
Not much more to say. This is a perfect layer to keep you warm but still breathes well and I don't get overheated even on a long walk in.
Went to upsate NY early season, this was a great addition to all my other baselayers. I like the fit and feel and was great around camp as well. Very warm for those cool evenings and morning sits. While on this trip the temps ranged from 38-75 degrees.
