By far the best fabric on the market. Stretches and bounces right back, doesn't stink and is breathable. If they made a balaclava out of the same lightweight material I would order one of those to allow for more head coverage.
Great early season gaiter. I found myself wearing it a lot when COVID first hit as my everyday mask. It was very comfortable and it kept the odor off unlike everything else I was wearing.
This is just one of those pieces, like the talus fingerless gloves or the merino beanie, that just lives with you and serves multiple purposes aside from hunting. This is one of those overlooked items that stays in my hunting bag. Aside from its intended purpose, I’ve used it as head gear, a face cover, and even a neck warmer with a sore throat with the common cold. Wet it down while fishing and you have yourself a cooling towel during the summer months. I love this piece. I’ve had it for several years, and just now getting around to writing a review. Love this thing!!!
I have one in fusion and one in black. Super comfortable in the deer stand as well as on a boat or now for a face covering around town. Highly recommend to anyone in need of a neck gaiter.
Started the day in 49 degrees and light rain, continued to 70 degrees and sunny in the afternoon. This face mask helped kep me warm and dry in the morning, and comfortable in the afternoon! Honestly, i was skeptical because of the pricetag, but these really are worth every dime! Light like t-shirt material, but kept my face warm even on an ATV in the rain
I bought this as an added layer for an Moose hunt in Alaska. From the moment I got to Fairbanks til the day I left it acted as a face covering for going in and out of stores while securing our supplies and licenses, a protection from mosquitos, and an added bit of warmth. It was so comfortable that I left it on at night when I slept. The wool never pilled and it maintained the right amount of stretch. On cold mornings and evenings below 40 degrees I replaced it with the FirstLite balaclava.
They fit perfectly, these pants are lightweight but also warm and breathable. I bought these for an African Safari. I will update this review with how they did on the Safari. They work great in my whitetail stand.
The Aerowool Neck Gaiter is a great all around piece of equipment. Lightweight, dries quickly, and has many uses. I have used the neck gaiter as a gaiter, face mask, headband, ear warmer, and a pre-filter for drinking water before treatment. Takes up next to no space in a pack, but extremely useful.
Great protection form the cold, but also very nice to get it wet and wear it on a hot day. Love this thing!
I purchased this neck gaiter for my upcoming limited entry bull elk hunt in Utah, along with a beanie. I was able to use these products the last two days during a massive windstorm over the Wasatch front in Centerville wear I work as a first responder. This gaiter, along with the beanie, kept me warm in the early mornings and late evenings of two very long shifts, trying to put our city back together and assist citizens. During the late afternoon, when it was a little warmer, I got it damp and was able to remain cool for a while as it dried, which was also fairly fast. This appears to be an awesome product and well worth the money! I will be buying more gear...but please don’t tell the wife!
