Just did a review for the amazing solitude jacket so here goes, these things are literally like wearing your pajamas out into the woods. I appreciate the fact that I don't get overheated walking to the stand, and warm up once my body starts to cool, that's the 37.5 doing it's job! The top zipper pocket makes a great place to quickly stash your rangefinder or phone. One handheater in the muff part and you're good to silently draw your bow without gloves. With a good baselayer im plenty comfortable down into the 30's . Have taken a buck and doe directly underneath me while wearing these bow hunting. Waist sizing these is important as the medium was too small. Large fits perfectly without being too long. Everybody now wants to know where I got these after they tell me how cold they were but not me. Proud first lite customer here in Arkansas
In pennsylvania sometimes it’s gets cold in November.. one morning I wore my zip off base layer and guide pants got to stand put bibs on 30 degrees with wind beating you in the face I was warm and comfy .. if your serious hunter . You need these bibs
First season using the bibs They are not water resistant and do little or nothing to stop the wind!! The pockets on the pant legs are vey difficult to access with gloves on or cold fingers.
Hard core guys should definitely look elsewhere. So disappointing
I bought these for hunting whitetail in WI. It's opening day of gun season right now and I just gotta say there's a fly on these things that they don't tell you about and fellas let me tell ya, I drink a lot of coffee while hunting and boy is it nice not having to strip out of your bibs to take a leak. 10/10 would buy again. Not just for the fly... these are just all around awesome bibs. Super comfy, warm and quiet!
I am always hesitant on buying bibs due to some of them being bulky and lack in flexibility. When it comes to these, neither was true. I ordered a large and they fit true to size. I used the solitude bib pants for tree stand and ground blind hunting in southern Ohio. They provided awesome flexibility and kept me completely warm in temps down into the 20s. Highly recommend these to anyone considering purchasing them. These will permanently be in my bag for whitetail hunting trips!
Impressed with the quality of the bibs. Very warm sitting in the tree stand in 30 degree weather. They do seem to run a touch small. Ordered my normal size per the guide, it will be a little tight for layering underneath.
Great bibs especially when paired with the solitude jacket even with high winds and cold weather It’ll keep you warm and comfortable. Extremely quiet gear as well. If you’re looking for some high end gear I’d suggest picking these up you won’t be disappointed!
I really like this gear, great material, feels durable and comfortable. It fits great with base layers underneath but there is no way you would fit a pair of pants underneath if you needed extra warmth, I would recommend one size up if you want to were jeans underneath. Like the storage and hand warmer pocket. All zippers open and close quietly and don’t snag. Can move very well In these cloth, don’t feel restricting in any way. Only disappointment is exactly what everyone else who review this said, the material used in the seat is noisy. One main reason I started purchasing actual hunting gear is because my normal winter clothing is extremely noisy and I wanted nice quiet clothing. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about because walking in through snow and leafs is much louder than the material rubbing. It’s unfortunate that there isn’t a way to make it water proof without the noisy material.
Probably my 3rd set of bibs - these are far and away the best I've owned. Love the full side zippers - makes getting them on and off a breeze, and allows for venting if needed as well. Suspenders work well, pockets seem to work just fine - I tend to carry a small lumbar pack, so pockets aren't as important to me.
Super quiet, well insulated without being bulky. The M were a perfect call - most days a light or mid weight merino layer is all I need - one 18F morning with a long intended sit I added a heavier pair of fleece pant into the mix, and they fit fine underneath, and I was plenty warm.
I debated for a few years on spending the $$ on higher end gear - these bibs just confirmed finally taking that plunge. Customer service was super friendly and useful in making the right call on both model and fit.
These are the most comfortable bibs I have worn. They keep you worm in the cold stand for hours and the material is super quiet. I love these and can't wait to buy the jacket to complete the set.
The fit is also perfect. I am 6'3 and 200 lbs and they fit perfect. Even with a wool base layer, the Obidian Wool Pants and then these on top. Fits perfect, not tight at all. Very well thought out bibs.
