I was skeptical at first about these, they feel so lite and thin. I tested them out in mid to low 20’s and I was pulling off layers, was down to just these and light jacket. It breathes very well. The fit is good. I got the large sleeve length is perfect, body a little baggy but fine if I layer underneath. I usually wouldn’t spend this much on clothing but heard good things and decided to get myself a Christmas present. Worth it! Can’t wait to use out hunting in the stand
I purchased the kiln to use while hunting whitetail in michigan. This year the temperatures ranged from 6 degrees in the morning to mid 30s in the afternoons. This shirt kept me very comfortable with the addition of a light insulated jacket. The fabric is breathable yet very warm. I like the shirt so much I now use it under my work polos while delivering beer and keeps me perfectly comfortable.
Wore this shirt as my only layer when starting my summit accent in the Canadian Rockies in early Oct. Kept most of my upper body cool with the exception of my back against my pack. This area always collect moisture. I was shocked however, how quick this shirt did dry as I didn't need to change my shirt when descending... (wasted space in my pack carrying additional cloths). I only had to pair with a shell when we got socked in when jus under 3000 masl but I didn't need anything extra to keep warm.
I either pack this shirt or switch into it if I'm not already wearing it no matter the activity or weather.
This is my second favorite piece of FL gear. Second to the wick, this piece of gear is always on me or in my pack ready to go. I love the gear and it's a little roomy for me compared to the wick, but it is amazing. Fits well and is a great next to skin layer.
Unbelievably warm and breathable, pulls the sweat right off your skin leaving you dry. Great layer by itself in 65-60 degrees, always my base layer any temp below that.
