Men's Furnace Long John

EXP 350 Merino-X

$110.00 USD

Color/PatternFirst Lite Cipher

Whether you pulled a late-season elk hunt or are down to the closing bell in the treestand, First Lite's Furnace Long John is the perfect tool to help you punch that tag in cold weather. Using our Merino-X 350g EXP weight fabric, the Furnace Long John provides lofted insulation and protection from the coldest temperatures. Featuring flatlock seams, a brushed, jacquard waistband and an articulated fit, the Furnace Long John leverages the loft, structure and stretch of our Merino-X fabric to provide the ideal layering piece over our other lightweight, next-to-skin styles. This system is the new standard for stationary hunts or late season stalks when staying warm is critical to success.

Our Furnace EXP 350 Merino-X fabric incorporates a brushed (or fleeced) backside to our high loft, interlock knits to provide super-charged insulation without added weight. Adding this to the silent, odor-free benefits of merino wool, the Furnace merino is the hands-down choice for cold weather hunts.

The Furnace EXP 350 is also available in Henley and Quarter Zip Tops.

Very very warm!

These are very very warm! Fit is pretty good. If you have ever worn UA 4.0 these are like those on steroids. I have worn down into the 20’s with real feel and they keep me sweating on spot and stalk hunts. I highly recommend for cold weather.

Lookey here lookey here

These are the most comfortable thing I've ever put on. I'll pay whatever they want to put one or two pockets on these bad boys for me

Warm and comfortable, but not durable

I was pretty excited to get this warm piece of Merino Wool. They fit great, are warm and breath well. Only disappointment was after 3 treestand bow hunts the stitching gave out on the back. I ended up sewing it, so it's fine now. However, I didn't expect something to rip as a base layer for this kind of $. Other than that great product and much better than other base layers.

Fit: 3
Product Size: M
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 180lbs - 190lbs
Fit Comments: I have larger thighs in relation to my waste so most wool bottoms are tight in the legs and loose in the waste. These fit perfect. I don't get any bunch up under my pants. Also, many times underlays are tight on the leg openings which I find reduces good blood flow and can get uncomfortable after a long day. These fit very nice.
Well built, warm

Well made and very warm. Generally, I pull these out when it gets in the 20 or below. They can be too warm if you are active in 30 degrees, sitting they are nice however. Best wool that I have used.
