Men's Furnace Long John

EXP 350 Merino-X

$110.00 USD

Color/PatternFirst Lite Cipher

Whether you pulled a late-season elk hunt or are down to the closing bell in the treestand, First Lite's Furnace Long John is the perfect tool to help you punch that tag in cold weather. Using our Merino-X 350g EXP weight fabric, the Furnace Long John provides lofted insulation and protection from the coldest temperatures. Featuring flatlock seams, a brushed, jacquard waistband and an articulated fit, the Furnace Long John leverages the loft, structure and stretch of our Merino-X fabric to provide the ideal layering piece over our other lightweight, next-to-skin styles. This system is the new standard for stationary hunts or late season stalks when staying warm is critical to success.

Our Furnace EXP 350 Merino-X fabric incorporates a brushed (or fleeced) backside to our high loft, interlock knits to provide super-charged insulation without added weight. Adding this to the silent, odor-free benefits of merino wool, the Furnace merino is the hands-down choice for cold weather hunts.

The Furnace EXP 350 is also available in Henley and Quarter Zip Tops.

Glad I got them

These are really comfortable and warm. I needed a replacement so I upgraded in warmth and glad I did. I do a lot of late season hunts. These keep me warm.

Plenty Warm

Wore it to work the other night and my lower half didn't get overly warm or sweaty when inside and I was plenty warm when standing outside in Wisconsin winter for an extended time. The waistband is plenty strong so the waist doesn't move when you bend down. The only problem with it is that the front part of the pants is rather short from the crotch to the front waistband but after wearing them for a little bit you no longer notice it.

Great Layer

Extremely warm layer, but also will keep you comfortable if you are doing more than stationary hunting. As someone that runs hot, this is important. Would be a great addition to any hunting clothing system!

First Lite review catalyst pant, jacket.

The catalyst pants and jacket are great. They fit well and are the most comfortable pants and jacket combo I’ve ever worn. I’m 5’9” and the sleeves were a bit long but they fit snug and that makes them the perfect length to mate up with gloves without leaving a gap. They don’t seem well suited for sitting if the wind is blowing. They breath well and I can’t wait to wear them while moving. The furnace long johns and pullover are the perfect weight and also offer great breathing quality. My next purchase will be the sanctuary bibs and jacket. My friend swears by his. I intend to have a complete first lite kit at my disposal for whatever conditions arise.
