Wore it on crop damage hunting permits in July, did a great job stopping the mesquites from biting me and keeping me cool during the hot weather!
I just got this hoody this summer so not a lot of use out of it yet, but has proven great so far. The sweatshirt has a perfect fit and the sleeves are a great length. It is very comfortable I can easily wear a shirt under it and put other layers over it.
Got this hoody on sale during the summer so I haven’t abused it yet but from the short amount of time I’ve worn it I can tell it’s going to keep me very warm. It is a snug athletic fit but from what I hear that is normal. Knowing that it was a good size for me.
In October 2018 a friend and I hiked Mt. Whitney, and he had one of these hoodies. At one point during our ascent it was the only upper garment he had on. He couldn't stop saying enough good things about it. I got one shortly after and have absolutely not been disappointed! It is great for everything. I wear it all the time, hunting, camping, hiking, and casually around the house. I wear it almost everyday during the winter, and in the summer I throw it in with my gear for camping on wildfires. I took it to Alaska last summer and wore it everyday for 2 weeks straight and it held up to expectations. After continuous use for about a year and a half and only a handful of washings, it has developed only two smal holes, which were easy to stitch. This is a fantastic product and one of my favorite pieces of gear. Totally satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend. Wool is far superior to any synthetic garment advertising similar qualities, no stink, very durable, moisture wicking and temperature regulating. I can't say enough good things about it!
This thing is going to be a key piece of gear this fall in the whitetail woods. Works great as both an outer layer or as a layering piece and I plan to use it as both. I recommend this to anyone that is looking for high quality hunting clothing. I definitely plan on buying more first lite gear before the season gets here.
