Perfect for colder late mid season to late season sits requiring a comfortable and warm layer against the skin.
These are way too small in the crotch. The long underwear from FL has a ridiculous amount of room while these cut my balls in half and suffocate everything else. The legs are too long for me as well. I’m 6ft and I’ve got material bunched up at my ankles. The crotch box is so short I can’t pull these up far enough to sit with my underwear
I just started this year, 2021, looking in to camo for myself and my pro-staff and settled on First Lite being the way to go. In the Southeastern US, I recommend these highly as they will make you only need 2 layers. Keeps you lightweight, warm, and comfortable. Here in GA all you need are these long John's and a pair of obsidian merino pants as a bottom layer system. The long John's are amazingly warm, soft, and comfortable. They aren't so tight you feel crammed and they are breathable. Highly recommend the use of these.
One of the nicest base layers I have ever owned! The only thing is I am a short guy with a bigger waist so the legs are a little long
It’s 100 degrees plus out right now so haven’t had a chance to get these out in the timber yet but it’s obvious when the temps drop here in Mt. (cmon Sept!)these will be perfect performers. Thank you Firstlite and all the staff! Dylan, Fran, and James, you guys were awesome!
I use these for temps below 40, or as a base inside a sleeping bag for cold nights!
Just what you’d expect out of merino wool: warm and breathable. No pulling at hair, no sweating when the temps start rising or you start walking. A comfortable base layer you don’t feel the need to change when it walking in cool temps. It’s my go to under my pants for mid to late season whitetails and cool mornings for spring gobblers.
Sometimes it's hard to know what type of product you're getting by viewing solely through the internet. I want to ensure you that the quality of this material is legit. The material is very dense, thick, and comfortable. The material reminds me of the cuff from the Sanctuary coat that First Lite offers. I would highly suggest that you purchase.
True to size, super warm, really comfy, very nice stretch yet no tight!
I received these as a Christmas gift, and I have recommended them to all of buddies since. I wasn't able to use them for hunting purposes yet with the way our seasons fall, but this winter I was able to wear them ice fishing and hiking on several occasions (all in temps ranging from single digits to below freezing) and I can't enough good things about them. They certainly keep me warm and dry when active and working up a sweat, and stayed that way once I stopped moving, and traditionally would find myself damp and cold. I've thrown them on to hop on my tractor and plow our driveway, and just sitting exposed to the elements, they performed beyond my expectations. Awesome product that can increase warmth and comfort for a wide range of layering and activities.
