Midweight 250 Merino-X

$125.00

Color/PatternFirst Lite Cipher

From September elk to January mallards, the Kiln Midweight 250 Merino-X Hoody is our new do-it-all hooded base layer. The successor to our best-selling Chama Hoody, this piece is constructed of Merino-X for improved structure and resistance to tears and bagging. Perhaps the most versatile base layer component within the First Lite layering system, the Kiln simply cannot be beat as a do-it-all top for any outdoor enthusiast. With its 250 gram Merino-X fabric, this piece can be either your first or second layer and will keep you comfortable and odor free from September through May.

The Kiln 250 is also available in a men's quarter zip and crew.

Comfortable Merino

The First Lite merino wool is very comfortable. As a baselayer or midlayer, I would like I wish both the Kiln Hoody and Klamath Hoody were more form fitting around the mid section.

Versatile

Excellent hoody. Great as a midlayer on colder days and functions perfect as an outer layer in the early season.

Great hoody

Great hoody that is good for all kinds of conditions. As a mid weight it seems a bit lighter than I was expecting.

Fits Tall guys

I am 6'6" and I have a hard time finding hoodies that fit me at all. The Kiln Hoody fits great! I love it and will wear it all season long.

Great piece

Added it to my layers for the tree stand. On cold days I wore it on the walk in. Breathable while moving. Kept me comfortable during all day November sits in the stand
