The Sawbuck Brush Pant
"Primarily upland bird hunter here-
I saved up some money to buy a pair of these and another pair of pants from Orvis. These arrived before I made the other pant purchase and I'm now 3 months into wearing them. I won't be buying anything other than another set of Sawbucks. They are light, don't bog down with water/frost/dew, and hold up well. I am very pleased, per usual, with this product from FirstLite.

I carried this puffy with me in my back pack during archery in Colorado and got hit with record snow fall for September. It takes up very minimal room when compressed and keeps you nice and warm no complaints from me.
I did a 9 day back country hunt in southern Colorado I encountered all elements rain snow sleet hail etc. This product performed really well kept me warm and was able to dry out fairly easy. Scent control was also very good keeping body Oder to a minimum we had many close 5yrd encounters with elk. Very satisfied.
This is by no means in any way shape or form similar to your everyday duffle you would pick up from Nike or UA. For starters, this is going to be slightly larger than your average duffle bag. It has a 70 L capacity ready to fit more than enough gear for a weekend adventure. The double sided TPU is visibly more durable than an average duffle and even empty and zipped holds its structure upon compression so you know it is keeping everything in there dry. What I really love about this duffle is the pockets. Most hunters are pocket lovers. From our backpacks to clothing to duffles, we love our pockets. The duffle is lined with pockets all over for easy separation of all your gear. This is a duffle I would trust to pack with me on a weekend fishing trip, to hunting camp, and out on the hard water knowing my gear will always be dry and protected. Top it off with a roll top stuff sack to compress gear and add a little extra space in the bag this is a bundle every hunter would need. If you find yourself having a hard time packing most of your gear in an average size duffle bag you may want to consider the large duffle. Though, it is going to meet most any outdoorsmans needs for a weekend adventure.
During my years in the hunting and ski industries I have owned dozens of face coverings. This Wind River balaclava is my all-time favorite! The seems are in the right spots for functionality, the ear hole is a fabulous value added upgrade, the material is premium bud! Soft as a baby's bottom as that old commercial said about their product. This item is warm yet breaths better than some lighter weight (less warm) products that I have used and I just tore my garage apart to find my Cipher patterned one on the floor in a pile of gear from elk season. Now that it is back on my head I am on the website to order a solid color(because some days I get a kick out of being the guy on the ski hill rep'n camo with pride and other days I just don't want the attention.
I've always been kind of a loner. Girls never really had any interest in me, all the football jocks made fun of me, so I took up all things outdoors. All I ever wanted was to talk to a girl. Weirdest thing happened after I bought this sweater. All of a sudden beautiful women started talking to me everywhere, asking me out, propositioning me, complimenting this beautiful garment. In the grocery store, on the street, you name it. So I guess I would say this sweater is awesome, but the down side is, now I have so many lady-friends that I don't have time to hunt and fish anymore. Thanks, I guess.
Kiln Crew, Kiln Zip Offs, Furnace Zip, Furnace Bottoms, Sanctuary Bibs and Jacket, and Klamath Zip (as a wind break or outer layer in mild conditions). Love it all. By far and wide the BEST gear I have ever worn.
Warm, dry, and the base layers are perfect in every way, I use the Kiln top / bootom under brush pants for upland hunting a few times a week as well.
No problem during cold-as-hell tree stand and ground sits up here in Canada. You won't regret it.
