Best looking Rem700 in Maine? Probably.

You already know how great First Lite's Fusion looks--and you [most likely] already have your hunting gear in this pattern. It only makes sense to have your bow or rifle[stock] hydro dipped in it. The finish is great, and doesn't appear to have any peeling on it. I've had my rifle to and from the range since receiving it back from the great folks at Utah Hydro Graphics, and I've received a bunch of comments on the build. For the price, I seriously can't think of a better upgrade to your hunting kit.One note on the process: after you checkout with First Lite, you'll receive instructions on shipping your item/s to Utah Hydro Graphics. You'll pay shipping to, and then again from, Utah. Just be mindful of that, as it wasn't super clear throughout the initial process. For reference: I sent my stock from Maine to Utah via USPS Priority (with insurance) for just over $20, and when Utah Hydro Graphics reached out to me to collect return shipping it was just over $15. I wouldn't let this stop me from doing this again, but I did want to share this with potential buyers so they knew what to expect moving forward. Lastly, the entire process took roughly five weeks--which includes the 6-10 days [total] my stock spent in transit. Not bad at all, but be sure to plan accordingly if you want to bring your bow/stock along for a hunt that is less than 5 weeks out!

Not what I was expecting.

I turned 40 this past year and for my birthday I purchased an all purpose, take anywhere, use for the rest of my life rifle. I wanted it to be a little different so I was very excited to have it hydro dipped in in First Lite cypher. I was even more excited when First Lite said Utah Hydrographics is the best in the game. I figured with a company like FirstLIte stating that it has to be amazing. They are not. From across the room the gun looks great. But once its picked up the imperfections our VERY obvious. The pattern is distorted on half of the gun stock and looks out of focus and blurry. To add to this obvious imperfection the finish in this area is also inconsistent. In the areas the pattern looks good the coat is smooth and feels like its been sealed. In the parts where the pattern distorts the finish feels dry and almost like a paper. To top this off, where the stocks built in cheek rest has a lip to there must have been air bubbles or something because the paint is peeling here and I had not even used the rifle yet. Terrible. Now every time I pick up my new gun of a lifetime I cant help but feel its tainted. Oh and it took about 6 or 7 weeks to get it back, I called Utah HG to find out what the delay was and the very nice gentleman informed me they were extremely busy. Maybe mine was just a fluke. Or maybe its the product of a hurried employee. Either way, its very disappointing. I should get a refund.
