Great item for bow hunting, perfect weight and break up. Cant go wrong with the phantom when it comes to tree stands, its basically the go to.
This is easily one of my faorite pieces of hunting kit. It breaks up your outline really well, is super breathable, and fits easily over a baseball cap. I used a tight fitting buff before I got this and I'm never going back. Perfect for early fall archery deer/elk hunting. I've had people walk right by me and not notice I'm there, even though I was just sitting on a log not hiding at all!
Good stuff! Fits good
Best fitting balaklava I've used. It does a great job concealing facial features and breaking up the head/neck area sometimes left out of a hunter's camouflage. I first purchased the balaklava in cipher before exchanging for the new specter pattern (better for spring turkey IMO).
This leaf balaclava was perfect. Not only did I kill a turkey but on one occasion, I was kneeling down near a tree but not against it calling every 5-10 minutes to locate a gobbler and a hen turkey walked 10 yards in front of me feeding and looking around and did not notice me at all. I was astounded. Incredible turkey hunting accessory that everyone needs. I have paired it with the leafy suit and it is a great combo. Unlike other reviewers, I did not have a problem wearing it without a ballcap. I have an enormous head. No headwear fits me very well and this thing was an easily adjustable fit that fit me and my fiance (who has a normal head).
Just buy it, I have hands down never had such good stalks!
Much better than a hood since it rotates with your head separately from your jacket. Fits over a ball cap for early season or a heavy fleece or wool cap for cold weather .
I love it. I’ve used many brands and even made my own. The material is remarkably breathable. I live in Texas and it is hot and humid. I can actually wear this in June/July pig hunting and not have a heat stroke. The attachment of the hat brim is awesome. I use a topless fishing hat under it so the heat can escape and you can’t beat it.
Simply the most perfect balaclava made. Best with a cap,
