Tailored for mid to late season, the Core Kit brings a new level of versatility and technology for the heart of the whitetail season. With First Lite’s standard KitLinkTM pass-thru magnetic pockets, the Core Bib seamlessly integrates with the Core Jacket, Vest, and the Bib’s muff pocket.

The Core Bib is constructed with 60gsm legs / 80gsm body + 60gsm in the hand warmer chest panel of PrimaLoft® Gold insulation and windproof technology to keep you more comfortable, and in the stand longer, on the most blustery of days.

The versatile Core System is optimized for performance through the core of many hunters’ deer seasons; hunts from late October through November when the mornings are frosty and northern winds bring signs of winter. Windproof and Dead Silent. Fully-featured. Seamless integration. Worn on their own or combined to maximize the kit's true performance, the Core Kit offers never-before-seen versatility for the whitetail hunter.

I got the Core Bib and Jacket for an upcoming Snow Goose Hunt. Needless to say the hunt was cancelled due to a historic NE Snow Storm and we were unable to hunt. However the gear would not go to waste, I have spent hours outside, plowing, shoveling, salting and clearing our way to the street. Helping neighbors and road crews get cleaned up. My commitment to First Lite gear didn't start here, since I have many layers for different conditions, Base layer, Mid layer, Puffy goodness and all out Rain gear for those fowl days, but it sure did reassure me that I have chosen the right product and company. I put the core products to the test in single digits and below, with wind and snow. No doubt I would reccomend and purchase again! Do yourslef a favor, call them, ask questions, the support and reccomendations from the staff and personal attention is worth more than a product.

I have the whole core kit and I plowed snow in an open cab skid steer with nothing but pajama pants under my bibs in 5 degrees and I stayed warm the whole time. Love the core system it blends in good here in West Virginia hunting and keeps me warm doing anything outside.

This bib and the matching jacket are great! I hunt in Vermont through archery, rifle, and muzzleloader seasons and it should carry me from late archery to the end of the season in December with the layering amped up as it gets colder. I am 5'11" and 220 lbs and a large fits me perfectly, but I bumped the jacket up to an XL as it was a bit too snug with my full layers on.

I received the Core Bibs just in time for late season January Whitetail in the Southeast. Hunted from a saddle in the afternoon with temps in the 40s and was able to control body heat thanks to the zippered legs (from hip to ankle).

Also hunted two mornings with starting temps in the mid 20s and was more than comfortable with a pair of long underwear.

Durability remains to be seen over a few seasons, but so far I'm very happy with them. They're virtually DEAD silent which was great while hunting from a tree stand.

Well made, well designed and extremely warm. Best thermal set Ive ever owned by far.
