Warranty and Return Information

Returns and Exchanges

Thank you for your recent First Lite order!  Please follow the steps below to ensure you are eligible for our returns program, should you need to return or exchange anything on your order.  Please note that all returns must be approved via our website before you send the product back to us.

  1. In order to return or exchange a product, it must be unused, clean and must have the tags attached. Save both the original packaging and the clear polybag that came with the garment. Please keep the product clean and away from pets, liquids, odors, etc.  
  1. Items may be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date. We provide free returns and exchanges within 30 days of the sale date on full price items purchased in the lower 48 states. Free returns are not available for Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada. Shipping is non-refundable

PLEASE NOTE, we do not provide free returns or offer refunds for items purchased through our pro program, third parties, during sale periods, or for products bought through our outlet.  Items purchased on sale, during promotional periods, or at a discounted rate can only be returned for store credit or exchanged for a different size, IF inventory is available at the time our warehouse validates your return.  ITEMS PURCHASED AT A DISCOUNTED RATE AND SENT BACK FOR A SIZE EXCHANGE THAT CANNOT BE FULFILLED DUE TO UNAVAILABLE INVENTORY WILL BE ISSUED STORE CREDIT FOR THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE.  If you need help with sizing, please contact us so we can assist with your selection.  Valid proof of purchase is required for authorization of all returns and exchanges. 

  1. You must obtain a return authorization number via the process below before returning your product(s). Upon issuance of your return authorization number, eligible orders will be provided a printable UPS Ground return label.

Canadian Return Policy

Returns & Exchanges 

We want all our customers to be happy with our products. If you are unsatisfied with your First Lite product, you may return or exchange it in its original unworn/unused condition with tags and proof of purchase within 30 days of purchase.

First Lite will provide you with return information and instructions. If you request an exchange, First Lite will ship the exchange to you for no additional charge. 

For any concerns about a defective product, please contact our Customer Service team at (208) 806-0066 or email returns@firstlite.com. 

Once an order is shipped back to our returns center, please allow 2-3 weeks for us to receive and process your return. Once the return is processed, you’ll get an email that your refund is issued back to the original form of payment. If you paid with a Gift Card or made a purchase at a discount, we will refund your purchase amount to an electronic gift card for that amount.

Warranty Policy

First Lite takes pride in our products and will stand behind their quality. We will replace any piece that's performance in the field has been compromised by a manufacturer's defect for the practical lifespan of the garment.  If your First Lite product is defective, please request a "Return Authorization Number" below or contact us via email at returns@firstlite.com or phone by calling 208.806.0066.

  • Pilling, abrasion, pin holes or other cosmetic wear and tear which does not affect the performance of the product is not covered by the First Lite Warranty.
  • Rips, punctures, and burns caused by normal field use do not fall under this policy.
  • Products that shrink or are damaged when laundered outside of the specifications listed in First Lite's Care Guide and Washing Instructions are not covered under the First Lite Warranty.
  • Degradation of elastic, caused by use of Ozone scent elimination technology is not covered under First Lite's Warranty Policy.

First Lite's warranty policy is non-transferable and is only applicable to the original purchaser of the product(s) in question. Items purchased second hand or through a third party do not qualify for warranty exchange. Valid proof of purchase is required.  An RA (Return Authorization) # is required for all warranty returns. Products that are returned without an RA# or prior authorization will be returned to the customer.

Warranty Replacement Items

If your warranty request is approved and the item in question has been discontinued or updated, your replacement item will be sent in a comparable product or a store credit will be issued for the original purchase price.  

Warranty replacement items cannot be backordered.  If an inline item is approved for a warranty exchange and inventory is unavailable, a store credit will be issued for the original purchase price. 

Warranty authorization and replacement is left to the discretion of First Lite. 

NEMO X First Lite Warranty Policy & Procedure

NEMO Equipment offers a lifetime warranty on all gear.  Warranty requests are considered for defects in product manufacturing. If your NEMO X First Lite gear is defective in craftsmanship that was caused during the manufacturing process, contact NEMO directly.
