First Camo Gear Ever
5
I'm 5'2". 25 waist. 32C. 107lbs. I found first lite while trying to look for womens camo gear. Not a lot of brands out there, and I'm glad I stumbled across this line, the product is excellent quality, it feels durable (I haven't worn it out of the house yet) and you can tell, they have studied a women's cut. Thank you. I bought a small because I read the reviews and they all said this top fits small. I'm glad I bought a small. I think if I got a XS it would be too form fitting, like if I wanted something tight like a Wintersilk baselayer, but not good for the outdoors where I want movement and stretch. (But keep in mind, I've never actually tried on the XS yet so I'm assuming it would be form fitting.) The small top is still snug and loose at the same time. It still gives me a good womens shape, has good breath-ability, stretch in the material and is long so when I squat it doesn't ride up and show my crack. The neck line is wider than a crew neck but way smaller than a boat neck, so I don't feel like I'm choking. The only thing is its wool, so it does have a slight scratchy feel, but i probably wont mind it much. I love the finger loops. I'm excited for this product, I'm excited I found it, the customer service at firstlite was amazing with such fast response and shipment/delivery. Thank you. I can't wait to wait it out for labor day hunt! aloha from Hawaii!

great buy

I wore this shirt all early season, perfect amount of warmth and great base layer. The material is light weight and the shirt fits great. I'm 5'5 and 110lbs and bought a small, my only complaint is that I wish the sleeves were a little longer.

Overall great product!

Worth Every Dime

Amazing cut and design, as well as great fabric. I could lounge in that shirt all day!

Wish I had one in every color!!!

This shirt is my go to hunting shirt! I love it for mid to late season. I actually prefer that it runs a bit small because it doesn't give me the bulky feeling once I layer up! A total most have!

So Comfortable!
5
This base layer is perfect! I was worried at first, because wool typically makes me feel itchy, but this top does not at all. It was super comfortable. I have a larger chest and most baselayer tops are way too tight to pull over my chest, but this one stretched perfectly without compressing and being uncomfortable. The top also did not ride up as the day went on from different sitting and walking positions, like most other base layers do. I am so impressed and ended up wearing the top even when not hunting because I love how comfortable it is! Looking forward to my next hunt so I can wear it again!

So Comfortable!

I don't like too snug of clothes and returned my size medium for a large. I wore this shirt for spring turkey season. It is so soft and comfortable! Temperatures were from high 30's to high 70's during my hunt. I wore it under a light jacket then my turkey vest. Mornings were a bit cool and since you have to sit still it kept me warm and comfortable. As the day wore on I worked up a sweat while hiking but the shirt would quickly dry and didn't smell like sweat. Highly recommend this shirt. This was my introduction to First Lite clothing and look forward to purchasing other products.

Great base layer, but is a little tight!

I absolutely love first lite's clothing! I have all the women's base layers, the women's Alturas pants, and the Halstead fleece. I am 5'3 and about 120 lbs. A small in the Lupine crew fits pretty well, but I do wish the shoulders were a tad wider. Maybe I just have slightly wide shoulders for a short/small person. I also wish the wrist/forearms were either more stretchy or a little wider. I like the fit because it is a base layer, but it would be nice to be able to push the sleeves up more than a couple inches. I think if I had been able to try it on in a store, I would have gotten a medium. Other than that though, it is excellent as far as warmth and comfort. I've worn this underneath the Artemis hoodie and was comfortable in temps about 55-70 while sitting in a turkey blind. I probably would have been too warm in both layers if we were hiking but for sitting in a blind it worked great! In temps about 30-55 I added the Halstead fleece as an outer layer. Again this was sitting in a blind, so I think I would have been warm in temps down to 40 if we had been hiking, and even lower with the Halstead, depending on wind/cloudiness. I have a 260 gram merino wool Icebreaker base layer that I might use in place of the Lupine while deer hunting in the fall/winter, but we'll see if I need to when I get the women's puffy that is coming out! Overall, I really like the Lupine, but I will probably get another in a medium instead of a small.

Will definitely be my go to base layer top

I wore just this for turkey hunting in Georgia. I only got chilly once while on my entire hunt, and that was when the wind was blowing right as the sun was rising, otherwise it was perfect. As the temperatures went up doing the day not once did I feel like I was sweating and that it was too hot to wear. I look forward to testing it out during deer season and cooler tempatures, but from what I've seen from wearing it already it will be a great start to my layering system. The arm length is perfect, and for a wool material it doesn't make you itchy like some can.

The Best Base Layer!
5
I find the Lupine Crew so light weight, and comfortable, I love wearing it! I'm 5'3" with a petite build ordered a small and it fits perfect for me. Formfitting with lots of movement and length for tucking it into my Larkspur bottoms. Either as my base layer under the Artemis Hoody, or on its own this base layer rocks!

Can't have too many layers.

I am very impressed with how resistant all of First Lites morino wool is to smells and sweat. Moisture dries quickly and it is all very comfortable.

My Go To Base Layer!
5
Whether you're in the mountains, on the river, walking through the woods or sitting in a tree stand you're going to love the Lupine Crew! The fit is snug which holds in the warmth when its needed yet the merino wool lets your body breathe during a good sweat. I'm 5'4", 130 pounds, athletic build and I wear a medium. I am thoroughly impressed by this piece from First Lite, can't wait to see what they come up with next.
- Katniss on 7/13/2016
Hands down, the best fit for women in hunting apparel!!
5
I can't express enough how incredibly difficult it is to find good fitting camo for women, and this fit by far exceeded my expectations! I am 5'2 and about 115 pounds, typically women's camo is way too tight in the shoulders and too short in the arm length, but amazingly this material just moves with me and allows full range of motion! I took the advice of the other reviews that I had read and ordered a size medium, I am typically a small, however I didn't want a skin-tight fit, and the medium is perfect! Not baggy at all, yet fits well enough to still make me feel feminine! I am so greatful that First Lite has provided a product that does not sacrifice the durability of men's clothing, for the fit of a woman's body. Thank you First Lite!

Awesome base layer

I just lived in this top for four days straight on a camping/fising trip. We were in rain, sleet, hail, and snow and (paired with the artemis hoodie) it kept me comfortable and dry. Comfortable enough to sleep in every night and even though I didn't take it off for four days it only smelled like campfire smoke.

Great Base layer
5
I would wear this everyday if I could. I like the way it fits to my shade without clinging to tightly. I did order it in a size Medium, which is one up from what I normally wear because women’s Artemis Hoody I have ran small. But mainly for arm length and torso length to prevent it from riding up to high under my jacket. The material is warm and unlike other wool base layers it doesn’t not itch or irritate my skin. I will be buying this is multiple colors.

Love it!
5
I love this shirt! I've been trying to fit into the men's First Lite clothing and it was all too baggy on me. I'm so glad they have made a women's line! I agree with the other review that it runs a little small. I am generally a small or medium and I ordered the small. It fits, but is very snug. Great to wear as a base layer, but I think I will also order it in a medium for a little bit more of a relaxed fit. You can never have too much camo ;)
- Anna on 4/8/2016
runs a smidge small but really awesome
5
I am always a small but this shirt I could have gone with a medium. I have a pretty athletic build and apparently my arms are jacked because the forearms are super snug and there is no way I will be able to pull the thumb holes down and use them. If I would have been able to try it on, I just would have gone with a medium but I didn't so I'll just look ripped out of my mind when I wear it :) It's a great material and there is something amazing about it that keeps it from smelling. I'm glad that FirstLite came out with some women's gear!
