Uncompahgre Puffy Pant

Whether you’re glassing late season goats, layering for a long sit in the stand or sitting around a chilled, backcountry camp, the Uncompahgre Puffy Pant provides the hunter with packable insulation for the lower body. At a mere 18 oz., this highly compressible layer features a very toasty 100 gram, 37.5 synthetic insulation. Full side zippers and Velcro waist clasps mean you can get this pant on or off in seconds without taking off your boots while allowing you to layer them over your pants if desired.  An exterior DWR and reinforced seat resist moisture and tears while on the move or sitting pat. Easy on and off
These pants were used primarily in a treestand. With the full zip sides it is very quick quiet and easy to put them on and take them off as temperatures required. They were worn over the curragate guide pant and kept me warm sitting for long periods of time at 28*f. I also used the Uncompahgre jacket. They both are light weight and pack down small for transport.

Very warm and fits great
These are essential for when you get a chill in the backcountry. I wear these sleeping or glassing. Wouldn't go without them.

Great compliment to the jacket - needs suspender loops
Admittedly, I have not worn these in the field. They are great quality consistent with my other first lite gear. I do think they would benefit from standard suspender connections similar to those provided on the Kanab and guide pants
