10/10 amazing! I wear it almost daily as it makes th perfect mid layer. I’m considering buying a second one it’s that good!
Absolutely love this jacket! I layer it for cold or just as a light jacket. Perfect for cooler mornings and then easy to stuff in pack when warm. Keeps the wind off ya and is breathable. Highly recommend!
It seems like a great jacket for women with a bigger booty and more pronounced curves since it flares out at the bottom half. I decided to go with the men’s version instead for my particular form.
This jacket is perfect for early autumn hunting and outdoor activities in Alberta. So far I have used it as a base and midlayer depending on activity and temperature. Later into the season I can continue to use this jacket underneath my insulated outerwear. The collar comes up over the face when fully zipped, and the hood is snug, resulting in a nice built in balaclava-like coverage if you so desire. The DWR coating and insulated chest add in some extra protection and warmth, making it perfect for brisk days. You can wear this hunting, hiking, or even out on the town. It is well tailored and flattering enough to use as a regular jacket, not just technical outdoor wear. And SO much better than anything you will find specifically for women at the usual outdoor retailers here (Like Bass Pro or Cabela's which only carry their in-store women's brand She, which runs small.) It is also refreshing that this garment does not incorporate any pink detailing or logos.
I sized to a large based on my hip measurements so the chest is a bit loose, but not excessively so, and if anything allows for greater mobility. My measurements are 36-31-42.
I bought the green one for hunting. I LOVE this zip up. Great for cold days on the water fishing too. I just bought another one in black just because it's my favorite go to. I'm 5'9" and 190, the XL fits ideal.
Love this jacket. Super comfortable and flattering fit. Allows for comfortable movement of arms. Just bought it, so have been wearing in 30-50 degree weather with just a light undershirt. Still enough room to spare if I wanted to wear a thicker base layer underneath. I've worn this just casually while camping, but also while bicycling. Will likely wear it in early fall as well for hunting and perhaps into winter as a base layer. The panels provide a bit of wind block where needed, but is still overall breathable.
Super comfortable, great for layering. I love that it is longer in the back and that the hood zips up to your nose.
Let me start off by saying thank you - they forgot to send this to me in my order, and when I called, they overnighted it to me the next day at no extra charge.
This is warm, comfortable, and the perfect layer in between under-merino and a windproof jacket on those cold sits where you need just a little more. Thank you for understanding that I don’t have massive shoulders and a tapered waist, I am literally getting rid of everything I own and only buying first lite from now on.
I've never found a jacket that has these exact features and I LOVE IT! I've worn it upland hunting so far but look forward to wearing it elk and deer hunting too. In my opinion, this jacket fits better than Sitka women's gear. I wear a solid medium in all major brands (arcteryx, north face, etc) and I got the medium in this jacket. The only weird fit for my body is that its slightly tight in the shoulders, but not enough to order a large. If you're on the fence, order it, you won't be disappointed.
I got this jacket a size larger because I saw other reviews saying it ran small. I wish I would have stuck to my normal size, because now it's too large. This is great for a heavier mid layer or by itself on a warmer day. Very breathable and comfortable.
