Absolutely love this jacket! I want one in black too so it can be my everyday winter jacket also! And maybe a snow camo for predator hunting! So many useable pockets and I love the soft and quiet fabric!
I do wish you'd come out with tall sizes. I fell like it runs a little big. Don't need to size up for layering, I wish I would've sized down but was worried about length.
I won't get to put this to use until next season, but at first glance, I'm impressed. I'm chesty so I ordered a Medium--fits just right. There's plenty of room to layer up, and the material is so soft and quiet. I live in Tx so I did not get to test out the warmth-but the quality is there so I have faith. I also LOVE the pocket placements-big enough for cell phones, and pockets w/ a place for hand warmers! The hood is nice too-adjustable, so that when you move your head, it moves with you (versus staring into the side of your hood when you hear something coming in behind you). Overall, I'm happy with the buy and excited to try it out next season.
Absolutely love the First Lite Women's Sanctuary Insulated Jacket. Ultra quiet (and I thought my prior gear was), exceptional warmth, and amazing fit. Love the design and effort put into every little detail. I've been extremely comfortable in tree stands with this jacket (and bib) down to 20 degrees with baselayers.I love that its not bulky. I can move freely and most importantly quietly. I've worn it up to temps in the 40's and didn't overheat, even with a longer walk to the stand. This jacket is so comfortable, I find myself spending more time outside with it.
I purchased the Sanctuary bibs first, and was unsure if the coat was really necessary once I had the bibs - and it was. They're definitely a package deal. Like the bibs, so much thought & attention has been put into the design of this coat. I have NEVER worn a coat that is as soft and keeps me as warm as this coat does. I'm still in awe every time I'm in the stand that I'm not freezing cold. You don't have to have 27 layers and look like the Michelin man when you're hunting anymore when you're wearing this coat (and bibs for that matter). Very thought out design, very functional, and very warm. It was worth every penny. The sizing is pretty true to size, but I would say if you're between sizes to size up on this. Another great product from First Lite.
This is a hunting jacket that was designed for a woman's body. The pockets in this beast are out of this world! The material is so soft and quiet that I forget I am wearing gear, which allows me to put my attention where it's more important. I've been out in cold weather with it and been comfortable, and in milder conditions and have been comfortable as well. Objectively, I am between a small and a medium, so I went for medium. It is a little roomy, but perfect for layering and the drawstring belt makes it adjustable. The only thing which surprised me was the colour; in the online images, the lightest part looks grey to me (First Lite Fusion), whereas on the actual garment, it's a little more green-grey. It's only a subtle difference though. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase!
I was like everyone else I'm sure - no way I wanted to spend that kind of money on a jacket! Now I can't believe I took so look to invest in a great jacket! The details of the jacket are so well thought out-the pocket placements, snatch pockets, hand warmer pockets (where have they been all my life?!), and it is so nice and warm! So glad I bought this jacket, no regrets!
As we all know finding hunting gear for women is tough, thank your Firstlite for creating an awesome jacket made for women. I used this jacket during deer season and was never cold. Very satisfied with this purchase. The outwear is soft and moveable, making this jacket very comfortable. One of my favorite features is the pockets and how warm they keep your hands. Overall great design and sizing is spot on.
I love Firstlite and own nearly all my hunting gear through this company. This coat is super comfortable and the wrist elastics are awesome - keeping you warm. The price is a bit high, but if you are looking to be warm with no activity this is the go to for me hunting in Wyoming/Idaho! Love it and thank you Firstlite for the awesome womans collection - now we need VEST :)
Perfect fit. Perfect weight. Truly made for a woman. I’m 5’4 and 140 lbs everything about this jacket is spot on. I was hesitant to pull the trigger due to the price but I feel the value is definitely there Thank you.
Hands down the best and most important hunting gear I have ever bought. I searched for a long time for a quality jacket, nothing I tried on seemed like it would keep me warm or fit correctly. There certainly is not a lot of options out there for women. I was scared to buy a jacket I could not see and try on, but the fit is absolutely spot on with room to layer underneath. The outer fabric is soft like a athletic fabric but water completely bounces and beads off. There is an definite heft to the jacket and I have no words describe how warm it really is, really does feel like a furnace. The stitching, pockets and attention to detail are above everything else, I know I will get a ton of use out of this jacket. The sleeves are fitted perfect for bow hunting, snug but again just right to fit a couple of layers. Great range of motion, fabric is slightly stretchy. The hood really doesn't block your view when you turn your head, I find this really important. New York has some really cold days especially towards the end of rifle season and now I can really stay out a lot longer. It may be silly but my favorite part is they didn't feel the need to add pink just because its for women. I will definitely be saving my pennies for the bibs. Really I couldn't recommend this jacket more.
