Archery Antelope is a very predictable set of circumstances…hot and rough. This specific hunt guarantees warm temperatures and hours crawling though sage/gravel, willow busting, and stream crossings. The aforementioned conditions require a kit that is tough, ultra-breathable, and dries quick. My kit starts with a pair of MTN Athlete Crew Socks; I prefer to run these socks inside a set of breathable trail runners because they will dry fast but also still function well when wet and not give me any blisters when putting on the miles. Corrugate Guide pants are a must as their nylon construction makes them tough as nails and no match for gravel, sage, and willow brush but also allows them to breath. The Wilkin Half Zip Aerowool Top is the perfect combination of concealment, breathability, sun protection and durability and dries quickly. I round my kit out with an Aerowool Neck Gaiter and a 5 Panel Tech Cap to finish off my concealment and sun protection package. In the open country where I typically chase these speed demons I prefer to run Cipher across my whole kit as it is the perfect combination of colors and patterning to help me disappear from the wary eyes of these ultra-alert creatures
