Still have to put it through more paces in the field but so far so good.
I didn’t think a blow up pillow could be as soft and comfortable. Wish I would have ordered more because my kids want them too.
When I got this pillow, I was skeptical of whether it would be large enough for me to sleep on comfortably. I've since spent about a week sleeping on it, and I find it very comfortable for a camp pillow. I was concerned that the blow up valve would get in the way, but it absolutely does not. Would definitely recommend.
For how small this thing gets its incredibly comfy. i am concerned that the little bag on the inside wont last too many seasons but i bet i can call nemo and buy a new plastic bag. the material on one side is soft. also works good for air travel.
Awesome product. Used it on a 4 night trip and slept really well. Ultra packable and just enough pillow to sleep with my head elevated.
Great pillow! Used in in Colorado pack trip!
I would consider myself a seasoned backpacker. In my experience the closest competitor to this pillow would be the sea to summit areos ultra light. Which is what I was running before first lite wasn’t sold out of this pillow. So if they are in stock. Grab it fast! Anyways, where the First Lite Nemo has the Aeros beat is A) the pillow case sack that surrounds the pillow. Not only does that keep your face warmer, but it prevents moisture from forming an suction cupping your ear to the pillow. I don’t know about you but with the other pillows out there that has been common problem for me and B) it doesn’t have those seams that pop! I have popped so many of those 3 little seams in the sea to summit. Then they develop a slow leak an turn into a round beach ball. Nobody wants to sleep on a beach ball. Ultimately this pillow is the perfect size to nestle right into the top of my mummy bag on my overnight backcountry trips. I also took it on my trip to Hawaii, whipped it out on my plane ride. Ohhh ya… people were jelly!
Holly cow, I think I own 4 pillows, sea to summit and Exped included. Didn’t think the Nemo would be much better but I was wrong. This little thing is so comfortable and the fabric fells so good against the skin. Hands down best pillow I’ve ever used
Haven’t got it to the field yet, so I’ll post a more complete review after I do. Initial impressions are good. The fabric is super soft and you can air it up to your firmness preference. I used all kinds of things as pillows when I was in the army and I can already tell that I would’ve loved having this back then.
