Merino Beanie

EXP 350 Merino-X

$25.00

Color/PatternDry Earth

With the popularity of our Brimmed Beanie, it was only natural to design a technical, ultra-comfortable beanie without the brim that you’ll want to wear all the way back to the bar. Our beanie is a single layer of Merino-X wool with flat locked seams to ensure comfort and a snug fit. The beanie can be worn to complement our Wind River Balaclava or Neck Gaiter, providing added warmth and concealment.

Fit: 4
Product Size: L
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 190lbs - 200lbs
Location: Washington
Primary Use: Spot & Stalk
Fit Comments: Fit a little big but my head isn't that big, I wear a s/m in flex fit hats for reference. I ordered a large because alot of review's said it ran small, still a little big for me but it doesn't bother me at all. If you have an average sized head it should fit perfect
Very warm and comfortable

So far I love this beanie and how warm it is. Its almost to warm to wear when the sun pops out but my head has never been cold wearing this beanie. The merino wool material is good quality and super comfortable.

Warm, but the fit isn't ideal

Its very warm and dries quickly, but its not quite long enough. My earlobes stick out the bottom, no matter how far down I pull the beanie. It also likes to slide upwards off my head, which wouldn't be a problem if it was longer, but being so short it exposes your ears even more.

warmth is the name of the game

This being such a small piece in someone arsenal can make a difference in your comfort. I tested this out in many likely conditions rain, snow, wind and even slept with it on for a month straight with out washing this piece. Kept my head warm from wind chil of -9f and comfortable even at 70f. wind can pass thur it, but still kept it's warmth. I did like how the size(s) didn't obstruct my vision and ran down alittle past the back of my neck for little bit of extra protection. The only very minor con that I found to this piece is it felt slightly off balance. Did I mention I wore it for a month straight while sleeping? There was no smell detection whatsoever. Hands down you're getting what you pay for.

Fit Comments: A little large for my head
Comfortable and warm

Very comfortable hat and warm, and good breathability. I got the medium size which is a bit large for my liking for my small head - hat size is 6 3/4. It is still comfortable and I continue to use when it’s cold out.

Fit: 3
Product Size: L
Height: 6' 3"
Weight: 230lbs - 240lbs
Location: Michigan
Primary Use: Tree Stand
Fit Comments: I went with the 'L' size based on recommendation from FL staff. The L is 'taller' than the M is. This beanie comfortably covers my forehead, ears, and come down to just above my hairline and I don't expect to be fighting this beanie or pulling it down like others i've owned.
Great for bigheads

Much heavier than other merino beanies i've owned. I expect this will perform well from early to mid season, and will be great as a layer piece in the late season.
