Men's Sawbuck Brush Pant

Nylon Brush Pant with DWR

In Stock & Ready to Ship

Durable, comfortable, and built to move, the brush-busting Sawbuck pant is the answer to navigating through Idaho sage in search of chukar, pheasants, and grouse or through Sonoran thorns for coues deer. We've combined our proven Corrugate Guide Pant, 4-way stretch nylon with double-panel nylon brush panels, and triple-needle reinforced stitching to create a hunting brush pant that fits and moves like a climbing pant.

The rigid waistband manages a heavier overall pant construction, while the articulated construction and stretch paneling provide unobstructed mobility in the field. With both belt and suspender loops and a DWR finish to shed moisture, the Sawbuck hunting brush pants have created a much-needed solution for hunters navigating through the roughest environments.

My go to pants for every hunt

Only thing that would make them better is the hybrid stuff on the seat. Other than a wet butt they are perfect pants for any season. I have two pair now.

Sawbuck Brush pant

Was used on eastern Montana pheasant hunt. Pants were great, no problems going through heavy brush and thorny bushes. Mornings were cold, right at freezing, and daytime highs reached the 60's. Average days were 4-6 miles. The Sawbucks were comfortable the whole time. I would definitely recommend.

Comfortable, durable pant.

Used the pant four days straight hunting pheasant in thick brush, wetlands, and CRP in South Dakota. Excited to try it out in the high desert of central Idaho. Waist is a 30 but bought the pant in 32x32 and fit nice with or without thermals. The stretch of the pant is nice and it holds up well in thick brush doesn't catch on anything. It almost glides through the brush. Pant is also pretty quiet.

Comfortable and Durable.

I have about 10 hunts on these so far and am very impressed with the comfort and durability so far. This includes a lot of miles in cattails and heavy brush after upland birds. I can't believe how light these feel yet offer just as much protection as much heavier pants I have worn in the past. They also seem to dry off very fast. I think they would make a great all-around hunting pant. They seem to run just a bit long which is a good thing. 32 inseams sometimes run just a bit short for me but these are plenty long.

Great Pants

The fit and stretch material make these very comfortable pants. The brush panels work well, I can get through some very tough briars and thorns. I normally need a 34 length and opted for the 35 inseam. They are a bit longer than I expected (so much so they seem more than 36) but the extra length over the top of boots is great when going though heavy vegetation. A good purchase of nice quality gear.

Awesome Pants-Love the Length

I bought these pants primarily for Pheasant Hunting in PA. I thought they would be a nice early-mid season pheasant pant. I have an Orvis Softshell Pant that I used to use when it gets colder. I am picky when it comes to clothing and how it fits. Im 6'5 205 and wear 36x36 Jeans. I got these pants in a 34/35. They fit perfect. They are actually a little bit long on me. I was on the fence if I should get the shorter inseam or keep the longer. I kept the Longer and do not regret it!! The length of these pants is awesome. Being a tall guy I can never find pants long enough. These are the ticket. I can go through wet fields, over debris and logs and my pant legs do not ride up letting water and other things in the top of my boots. Come later in our PA season when it has been in the 20s and 30s in PA I have layered under them and been plenty warm enough. Not sure if ill ever wear Orvis pants again. I ordered the catalyst soft shell pant to help me handle the late late season. don't hesitate to Buy these pants !

Best investment

Got these the other day and went bear hunting the following day. These pants paid for themselves after 10 hours of hunting and walking through thickets and green briars. Best brush pant I have owned
