This fleece is comfortable and fits great. For whatever reason, every time I wear this piece I find myself reaching for a hoody-style pocket on the front. I think that would make this piece even better especially when it’s being used as an outer layer in more early-mid season type weather.
Great hoodie, very warm. Perfect to layer over a wool base layer. I wore the furnace, this, and an uncompagre jacket in 28 degree weather and never got cold. As others have said the sleeves are a bit long. They hit my first knuckle on my thumb on an XL and I am a tall person with long arms. I would size down if you want a tighter fit. Hood is very nice and you can still hear through it well. Fusion Camo is just top notch for the southeast. Had multiple animals to include a bobcat walk right next to me and never saw me even when trying to get my phone out to get a picture. Will be buying the quarter zip soon to reduce the number of hoods for different layering configurations.
I have been using this for about two months now and love it. I had it on an early white tail hunt in northern MN temps got into the 60's and just last week on a waterfowl hunt when it was 19 and windy trying to break ice to get out to our spot and I was just conferrable. The only drawback is the sleeves are long, but not overly concerned this allows me to have other layers on under this one and have the sleeve reach all the way to my gloves.
I ordered the Klamath in size M (size down from my usual) because others said the sleeves ran a little long. The M fits tighter to my body so it works really well as a second layer over a light, mid or heavy base. The Klamath is super comfortable and warm! Perfect layer for moving around and not wanting to get too warm before a sit or glassing session. The hood is awesome! Fully zipped it covered up past my mouth which cut the wind around my neck but allowed me to breath without producing a lot of condensation (great if you wear glasses). The sleeves are a bit longer, but we're not an issue for me, especially with the elastic cuffs.
This is probably my favorite article I have. Great layer under the Puffy, with the flexibility to remove the puffy without compromising warmth. I use the fuse henley underneath for a perfect combo.
