I bought these to go deep sea fishing, was looking for something that would keep warm at first light when we left dock but would also aid in keeping me cool as we were fishing all day. Something light weight and could dry easily were a bonus. We went from windy/cloudy in the morning to catching a ton of fish in the bright sun. These pants delivered on all fronts, what a great choice!!! I would have liked a shorter leg length in the pants, but was able to take them local and get them taken up a few inches.
Great Fit. For reference, I wear a 33 x 32 in Levis 505. These pants do not get baggy when its hot and you are moving and sweating a lot. The cut is perfect for me and is not restrictive. Also, they seem to have very good resistant to burrs and other hitchhikers.
I was looking for a light weight pant. Well these were the perfect fit and awesome for warmer weather. After using them at 3 D events , I was impressed. It’s always nice to order a product , which doesn’t disappoint!
These pants are everything I dreamed they would be. They fit true to size, are stretchy and roomy without being baggy, and are very lightweight. They are great in hot weather as well as cold when paired with a base layer. They’re surprisingly durable for how thin they are - I’ve snagged them on sharp rocks, barbed wire, cactus thorns, etc and they haven’t torn. Being so thin and light helps them dry quickly too. The pockets are placed well, functional, and secure thanks to the zippers. These pants check all the boxes, turned out better than I imagined, and made me a First Lite believer.
I conduct a lot of field research in Florida that involves spending long days on the boat off the coast of Miami tagging sharks. These pants were incredible to have. First off they are extremely durable. When working with sharks, your clothes can get ripped up all the time on account of their rough skin. However, these pants have not ripped in over 30 tagging trips. They are also extremely light and dry quickly which helps when its 90 degrees out and humid! Other than field work in Florida these pants worked amazingly well for archery season in Colorado. Quiet, lite, comfortable. Couldn't ask for a better pair of lite pants.
Seriously it’s one of those things that I didn’t think about during my hunt. It was great at keeping me cool during my early season archery hunt, and during my stalk, I never paid any mind to it. I never felt hot or restricted.
Didn’t think they could hold up in manzanita country, pleasantly surprised that I was wrong. Very light and breathable. Only negative is the mild noise they can produce.
Wore these pants for 9 days on our first trip out west to Utah. We were in a lot of thick sage brush and couldn't be happier for how these pants performed. We were there for the opening weekend and temps where in the high 80's and got down to the mid 50's. The fit was terrific. I am 5'7 and wear 34x32 and the fit is right right. These pants offer a lot of breathability and dry extremely quick! The one aspect that I was impressed with the most though is the durability. I couldn't believe how awesome these pants held up walking through all the sage brush. These pants will be great for early season hunting and during the spring! I highly recommend!!
These are the noisiest pair of pants I own, hunting or otherwise. They'll be fine for the airport tomorrow, traveling to camp, but they're unusable for an archery hunt. Should've bought the corrugated guide pant.
Made the mistake and tried this after they were revamped. They still run small compared to other First Lite pants. The quality appears low as the gusset is coming apart after only a month. Will only go with the corrugates for lighter weight pants.
