This quarter zip long sleeve is amazing!! I live in Arizona and hunt a lot of different climates throughout the year. This shirt is perfect for almost every condition. It’s the perfect shirt for mid year deer hunting, as it keeps me cool enough that I’m not overheating and in the colder months keeps my body heat in and keeps the chill off me. This is a do all shirt for all hunting seasons!
I love this thing. I bought it about a year ago now and it has held up great. I was looking for a lightweight long-sleeve to wear in the still kind of cold spring mornings in Oregon. It works great. So much so that it ended up in my clothes that I wear on a regular basis. It fits great. I ordered a large. Not gonna lie, I have a little bit of a beer belly haha, but this was still a good size for someone my size. I strongly suggest buying it if your looking a lightweight addition to your base layer system.
Just got this and the fuse bottoms. Will be the perfect base layer. Medium was the perfect fit for me as I don’t want base layers baggy. I’m 5’11”, 177 with a 34 inch waist.
I'm a new hunter and quickly realized the gear I had purchased just wouldnt work, I was either too cold or too bulky. So after learning about First Lite on the MeatEater podcast I decided to give it a shot. I purchased the Fuse 1/4 zip, the Kiln hoodie and the Furnace 1/4 zip and I could not be Happier! The Fuse fits perfect and is extremely comfortable. It is loose enough to be comfortable and not constantly tugging on it but tight enough that I can easily layer the other products without becoming too bulky and hindering my ability to draw back my bow. I use the Fuse as a baselayer and easily add or remove the other layers as the weather changes as they are easily packed into a backpack. I would highly recommend this layering system to any hunter new or old. My hunting days are extended now as I dont need to cut them short when it gets too cold
Another piece that I wore everyday until Mid October. Very surprised at how durable it was when wearing as a stand-alone piece hiking through burnt Christmas trees in warm temperatures. Snagged it more than a few times and was shocked to not find any holes/tears where my other brands of merino would have had huge gashes. The deep chest zipper helps manage heat and moister a lot in warm temps or active hunting. although my own skin and my pack took on some funk smell, this shirt had no strong odour at all.
This was the first product that I ordered from First Lite. Within a week of receiving this in the mail I placed another order for 2 more products. I was taken away by the quality and I immediately understood the “hype” behind FL merino.
It fits true to size in my opinion, as I always wear a medium. If I was only using this as a base layer I could’ve gotten away with a small but sometimes I like to wear another shirt under this so a medium works well.
I'm a a strength athlete and have huge shoulders and chest. Usually very hard for me to find the right size because I'm short and thick. After speaking with a representative I was confident I made the right choice. The fit is perfect and keeps me warm in the early bow season mornings in Alabama and keeps me cool on the way out.
Fit is spot on and would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking about ordering one
I lift, got an XL and it fits amazing. Took this and the Obsidian pants to the blind and both held up in the cold and were perfect once it got warmer. Highly recommend!
I bought a good chunk of First Lite gear, having only heard great things about it but had never used it. I’m a whitetail/duck/turkey hunter in Alabama, and recently went on a last minute early season teal hunt. The Fuse Quarter ZIP was the only shirt I had on me to wear, even though it was 82 degrees at 5 am...I thought I’d be sweating, but this thing kept me surprisingly cool. I’m flat out impressed, because I’m always hot. Looking forward to wearing it as an outer layer in early bow season and as a base layer once it gets colder.
