They fit great and are very soft with good stretch. It's amazing how fine the fibers are on these. Throw them on under your pants of choice and you won't regret it. They keep you comfortable in the early morning chill and aren't to hot when the temp rises throughout the day. So much warmer, cooler, stretchier, and breathable than Walmart and Academy base layers. If you can only afford 2 pieces of First Lite gear then get these and the bottoms to start out.
Fits me well. Sleeves are a perfect length for my longer arms. On first take I thought this was so thin it wouldn't be very warm but after wearing it out on a hike the other day I was pretty supprised. Pretty well exactly what I was looking for in a base layer.
Can't say enough good things about this shirt. It truly has a cooling effect right as you put it in. Almost like those bamboo mattresses and pillows that stay cooler than the temp. of the room. I've not yet worn it in cold weather as a base layer, but my understanding is that in a colder temperature, it will add warmth. Excited to try it out. I may buy a second one just to wear around the house because it just feels nice. Love that they made the sleeves a little longer than standard shirt size and added the thumb holes so they don't slide up.
I've heard people talking about Merino Wool for some time but never had a personal experience with it. I'm totally sold! This shirt is great as a base layer but I will also be using this as a stand alone turkey hunting shirt this spring. It keeps you very warm and I experienced first hand how fast it dries after you sweat in it. It's great stuff! Highly recommend!!
This is a good under layer, it's nice and light and unlike my last top it dose not go up your neck at all. My last one after a days hunting it would rub parts of my neck raw from looking from side to side. These do run a little big. I usually wear a large and this 1 is a little baggy for me
