The System
Engineered to be an uncompromising stronghold for the most severe and demanding conditions encountered in the absolute harshest of environments. Think glassing for an entire day on Prince of Wales Island in unrelenting mixed precipitation or brush busting through soaking overgrowth on the Washington coast during a November elk tag.
The Hood
The Omen's three-way adjustable hood with flip-up Channel Brim directs precipitation back and away from the face and allows for a range of adjustments to preserve peripheral vision and range of motion.
The Vents
The Omen’s chest and tricep vents allow the wearer to dump excess heat when needed. The chest cowl vents also serve as a Kit Link, which allows access to gear worn under your rain system.
The Pockets
The magnetic closure of the Omen’s pockets allows for generous volume and easy access in the field while maintaining a dry environment for your gear. Positioned above the waist, the dump pockets are usable and accessible with a pack belt.
The Fit
Both the jacket and pants are fit to accommodate varying layers throughout the season. The pant’s adjustable hook and loop waistband provides a customized fit while the full-length zip allows both ventilation and easy changing in the field.
The Bottom Line
The Omen Stormshelter beats the weather, period. The material and proprietary 4.5-layer construction blocks wind and precipitation from soaking your insulation and base layers, keeping you warm and dry whether you’re hunting in coastal rainforests or deep in the Yukon.
