Nice product 10/27/2018

Works as advertised, keeps you warm and dry on those mid-morning hikes and cool once the sun is overhead. More fade-proof than previous products.

Disappointing compared to the 100% Merino 9/12/2018

So disappointed in the next to skin comfort, will be returning. I have several of the "older" FL 100% merino base layers and LOVE them - both lightweight and mid-weights. Not this one. Maybe I have extra sensitive skin but to me this has an itchier and less comfortable overall feel that made me sad. It would appear the addition of the synthetic blend just doesn't work for me.

How it fits
Tighter feeling fit than my older FL shirts in similar size.

Perfect Lightweight Layer 8/31/2018

Product worked great! Fit is perfect, and works well as outerwear during warm conditions or as a base layer when it is cooler. Great product!

How it fits
Fit perfect. I like the stretch - it makes it able to fit a variety of people in various situations.

Good fit 8/30/2018

Fits well, like the length in the sleeve most shirts are to short in the sleeves. Haven’t worn it in the field yet but I think it’s a great addition to my layering system.

Feels great, long sleeves 8/29/2018

Just got this in last week and had the chance to wear it out scouting and loving it so far. The quarter zip is great and goes pretty far down to allow some good airflow. The only downside for me is that I find the sleeves to be pretty long but this may not necessarily apply to everyone as I am a short guy with broad shoulders so needed to order the medium. Still can't wait for the season to start to incorporate it into my layering system.

How it fits
As a shorted guy with a larger chest, I needed to order the medium size but the sleeves end up being a little long on me. Not a huge hinderance as I can roll the ends of the sleeve up inside when not using the thumbholes. Every other aspect of the fit is great for me.

Versatile and durable 8/29/2018

I wore this as a base layer early and as a top layer as the temps rose on 2 trips so far, Spring turkey and Quebec pike fishing. It holds in the warmth as an inner layer. As the temperature rose I remained comfortable using this as my outer top. I hiked up mountains and hauled boats over beaver dams and the fabric stayed dry and wicked away moisture. As an experiment I wore it all week during a fly-in fishing trip. I could not make it smell. And the fusion camo worked when I found myself unexpectedly in the middle of a flock of hen turkeys in the Pennsylvania woods. They walked within 15 yards and never made notice of my presence. Overall this is a fine piece to add to your hunting wardrobe

Overall very pleased, FL is worth the dollar! 8/29/2018

This is one piece of the new 2018 line up that I acquired and like very much. The quarter zip comes in very handy as far as thermal regulation upon exerting above average! The Merino is as expected, super nice and comfy! I am not a fan on the snug fit, as I ordered a large and very happy with that decision.

Maybe the best all around base layer 8/29/2018

I have yet to test this in the hill yet, but I am expecting this to be my favorite top. The wool is soft and supple with no stink or itch. This is a super quality garment and comes nicely packaged. I'm about 5'9" 180lbs and the large fits perfectly. I usually wear a large tee shirt. I've tried it on over the Wick QZ with no problem at all. With both layer on I'll be able to stay comfortable through the wide temp spans we have during archery season here in Wyoming. Love First Lite merino!

How it fits
Fits as expected. I think for my size a medium would be too small.

Great single or layering piece 8/29/2018

Love this shirt. Just got it and haven't taken it on any hunts yet but have been wearing it around the house and it reminds me of my other mid weight layers from FL that I love. This one does fit me better in torso length and arm length, my old ones became a bit short over time. Hopefully this one stays this way. Love the zipper and thumb hole option! Cipher rocks too! Keep it up FL!

Versitle Layer 8/29/2018

The fuse will be with me on just about every outdoor adventure I take part in. It takes the chill off in the early morning and breathes well when you're on the move.

I have only been able to wear it so far fishing and on a few hikes but I know it will be my go to. It will be a great primary for spring turks and early archery. Once the mercury drops it will be my cornerstone layer for long sits in the stand, or cold wet days in the blind.

I still love my Chama hoodie, but I think the Fuse is the new king.

Great layer for the versitle outdoorsman 8/28/2018

The Fuse will take the chill off on a cool morning, and it will keep you comfortable when on the move. It has a spot for just about every adventure imaginable. I have only used it on hikes and fishing trips so far but I know it will be one of my favorite pieces for many seasons to come. It will be my go to as a primary top for Turks and archery deer, and it will be my cornerstone on fridgid wet days spent in the blind.

New favourite replacement for the Chama 8/22/2018

Perfect thermal regulation and odour control. I can wear this as a base layer next to skin or over a t shirt when needed. Love the deep quarter zip to dump heat when climbing.

Awesome shirt! I wore an aerowool short sleeve underneath while chasing spring bears in 30-40 degree weather and it was perfect for when your on the move! kept me warm but wouldn't over heat when I'd push myself in the mountains of Alaska. when I stopped id throw my seak jacket over the top and it was all I needed for all day glassing. perfect layering shirt. would recommend!
