Fantastic merino product

In the winter I live in wool base layers since I work outside in cold conditions. I've owned merino base layers from all the top brands and I have to say I am very impressed and happy with the First Lite merino base layers I've bought. The material is excellent and the design is great. I love the long sleeves and thumb loops. As for size, the M fits me well, not too tight. I'm very happy I decided to give First Lite a try and will be back for more!

Best Base Layer I've Ever Owned!

Okay, I will admit when I received my Kiln hoody top and bottoms I was a little iffy on how warm it was actually going to keep me in the low N. Idaho temps. I WAS IMPRESSED! I absolutely love my kiln set. Over the last handful of hunts I have found myself hiking in my kiln top and wishing I could take off my catalyst pants and hike in my base layers alone. My last hunt was in 20 degree weather with a windchill in the mid-teens and the kiln base layer did great at regulating my body temp. On one hunt I made the mistake of pairing my Kiln top with an old poly-pro base layer... I was more than warm but that decision also prevented the merino wool from doing its job properly and I ended up sweaty and my next to skin layer (kiln hoody) was drenched in sweat. The base layers did far beyond what my expectations. I currently have the Women's Fuse Crew enroute to add to my layering system.
As far as the fit... the kiln fit perfect in all the right places. It is thin so you don't feel like Ralphie from A Christmas Story. Just as another review mentioned, the seems are in the right places so there isn't any uncomfortable scratching and the material is super soft. Best of all, caring for the garment is super easy and dries incredibly fast (hang-dry).

Fit Comments: Trim, athletic cut, and sleeves are long enough!

Athletic cut, lovely fabric, new favorite shirt!

This shirt ticks all the boxes for me! Trim, athletic cut that is very different from traditional women's hunting clothing. Fits more like an actual piece of athletic wear than a potato sack, which I very much appreciate. The sleeves are long enough to keep my wrists warm, and there is a bit of extra fabric in the shoulders and arms to accommodate the actual movements you make when hunting, so it never bunches, and doesn't feel tight. This is my new favorite shirt!

The Perfect Shirt

I own this shirt in Cipher and Conifer and find myself wearing it most days in the fall and winter. Soft and comfortable, not itchy. Nice long front zipper to dump heat after hoofing it up a ridge. I'll wear the conifer color around town and no one would ever assume it was from a "camp company". Great athletic fit.

Fit: 3
Product Size: M
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 120lbs - 130lbs
Location: Washington
Primary Use: Spot & Stalk
Fit Comments: Love the fit. Form fitting but never too tight and doesn't get baggy or stretch out after lots of wear. Maintains its shape and is great for shooting my bow in.
Perfect for hot early season hunts

I have worn this shirt on several hot September archery hunts and I LOVE it. It's completely breathable and doesn't end up stinking after a hot day of hiking. I could absolutely live in this shirt. The first time I tried it on I was a little concerned that it felt like the top of the zipper was poking me right where my collar bone comes together. I'm so glad I decided to keep it because after one wear and one wash I no longer felt that poking or choking sensation in the neckline at the top of the zipper. This is one of my very favorite articles of clothing.
