If I could give negative stars I would. Way over priced for what they are. Extremely NOISY!! fit goofy. Fine in the waist but really baggy in the legs. Most of all customer service is the worst I have ever encountered especially for a company that has way over priced products. I got suckered into First Lite. Purchased two pairs of these pants and didn't like them for the reasons above. Ran one through the steam cycle in the dryer to try and soften them up to see if they would get quieter. Didn't help sent them both back. They wouldn't give me my money back and offered store credit. No thanks. Then after I paid the money to send them back, they said that the one pair was "used" and couldn't re-stock them. 9 days later, I still don't have my "used" pants back or the money back on my card. First Lite will never see another dime of my hard earned money. Wouldn't be surprised if this review doesn't get posted on this site.
These pants are ultra light as advertised and keep me very cool in the hot summer we're having. Some people have said that they're loud but I wonder if they have actually warn them in the field because they're actually really quiet when you're walking. They're definitely small. Like everyone else said, buy a size bigger than you normally would. I usually wear a 32 but wear a 34 waist in these.
Got these pants for western archery season. At first I was worried that they were too loud but after actually using them scouting, they're far more quiet when you're using them than out of the bag. They breathe really well and are super light.
Definitely buy a size bigger than you think--they definitely run small!
The lightness and feel of these pants is incredible, definitely a bit tighter than the corrugates but somehow less restrictive. Super light so you can wear them to get into the high country and switch out into warmer heavier duty stuff without sacrificing much weight or space in your pack. Big fan of the roll up legs for wading into alpine lakes to reach more trout. Plus I'd even wear these bad boys around town cuz they look great in Dry Earth. Only thing is the 35 inseam was a bit long and I'm a taller guy, maybe 32 inseam wouldve worked out but that's quite a bit shorter than I usually wear so I didn't even really consider it. Haven't noticed them being loud as some other reviews suggest other than that the silicone? On the inside of the waistband makes a strange whissing noise if its again your skin. The fabric isn't any louder than other synthetic blend pants I've worn. Love these pants
I just grabbed a pair of the guide lights for a NM antelope August hunt because its going to be ridiculously hot. That said they got here a few weeks in advance and now they are my daily wear for showing ranchs! With Texas being over 100 everday these pants look amazing and keep you much cooler than jeans or other pants! These are my daily work pants moving forward with 2 more pairs on the way! Order one size bigger than you wear in jeans!
