These are a must for anyone!!!! No extra underwear needed when going light. Kept the stank down I will be buying an 7paper system for the rest of the season.
I’m a paramedic firefighter and basically dress up in a snowmobile suit and run a half marathon On the scene of a fire or car accident, then dress down and go pick up grandma off the floor. Do this two or three times in a row on a hot and humid day and you just can’t wait to get back to the station for a shower. Well this wicking fabric helps keep you dry and itch free. And a huge bonus if things go wrong the wool won’t melt and shrink wrap itself to you like other synthetic wicking materials. Have held up well so far.
These didnt fit well for me. I bought the Obsidian pant and they fit great. These are not for me my boys were sweaty and sicky all day. Not comfortable for me. I do not believe I can return these? Its a $45 watse.
So I bought these along with a few other items recently. Wore them out scouting in 88° and humid weather. Hiked between 5-8 miles up and down steep terrain. No swamp ass for me! These drawers performed excellent. Wicked away moisture and stayed dry. The fit was perfect and very comfortable. More of these will be on the next order.
My brother turned me on to First Lite years ago. I finally decided to try to long boxer for my early season base layer and they're awesome. I have a couple other heavier base layers from First Lite that I use for the duck blind and they are great products as well. Great Company! Keep up the good work.
These are hands down the best baselayers I have ever worn. They truly make your time on the stand more enjoyable. You will not regret purchasing these!
I have owned several pair of these boxers for going on a year now and here are my thoughts: These are the best merino boxers on the market.
I have tried several other well-known merino brands and all of their underwear have developed holes/failed in some way after a short period of time. The FL wick boxers have exceeded my expectations for durability and performance in a merino boxer.
I wear mine daily and sometimes upwards of 3 days at a time (i'm not brave enough to wear them longer than that lol) and they virtually eliminate all moisture-related issues in your nether regions.
They get washed heavily/frequently and in no caring manner by my wife (everything goes in the washer on the same setting *sigh*) and the only sign of wear is typical pilling in friction areas. The stitching and fabric is durable and none of the half-dozen pairs I own have developed any holes or loose threads.
The sizing is true (i'm XL, 38-40 waist and the XL fits perfect). The only real negative is they are long and if you are wearing short shorts you will see the boxers. Otherwise these are the best merino boxers money can buy. If you are on the fence about the quality or price don't be: these boxers will be one of the best investments you ever make in underwear.
These are some of the most comfortable underwear I have ever worn. Definitely will be getting more pairs.
I would mow the grass in these bad boys if I knew I wouldn’t cause a traffic jam. Have done some scouting in the south East and they kept me Comfortable, no riding, no swamp “butt”, nothing. Years ahead of any other boxers. Don’t see much mention on the elastic band but that is top notch as well, it does not fold over and holds it shape. Doesn’t hurt that the ladies like them too. Will be ordering large next time tho.
Bought these a month or two back. have put close to a hundred hiking miles on them. Tough as nails for how light weight they are. They are so light and comfy you don’t even know they are there, and the waist band might as well be invisible. All an all great pair of underwear.
