When temperatures begin to fall but breathability and dry times are still concerns, the Men's Fuse Henley is your go-to base layer. The 3-snap Henley collar provides additional temperature regulation while our lightweight, 200 gram Aerowool fabric provides the perfect balance of moisture-wicking breathability and lightweight insulation to make it an essential piece throughout the hunting season. These features make the Fuse 200 Henley the perfect base for mid-season hunts in a wide variety of environments.

Lightweight 200 Aerowool construction combines the finest, 17.5 micron merino wool available with 37.5-activated nylon fibers to create a super-charged fabric with incredible performance benefits. Good for everything!

I hunt waterfowl and upland up and down California, Northern mountains, coastal, southern valleys and deserts. This is the one piece I wear no matter what the temps are! 80 degrees in early season hunting ducks or my first layer in late season. I wore this and walked 10 plus miles chasing quail in the mountains and never over heated. Breathes well and gets rid of sweat quickly! I cannot recommend this shirt enough!

Amazing for active hunts

I love the fuse line of base layers. I was truly amazed at the Aerowool technology. Did (3) 11 mile days in the high dessert in the 20-30's. They were breathable during periods of high activity but also insulating during resting/glassing periods, After as much hiking and sweating I did the first day, I though for sure I was going to have to put on my old cotton long johns for the second day. I went to go smell them the next morning, expecting a pungent whiff of dried sweat, but was surprised to not smell much of anything at all. Ended up wearing them all 3 days and now I wont wear any other brand of base layers.

The fuse

FL makes good quality stuff. I like the fuse but it has its limits. For me I can only wear it as low as around 60s-50s I have to go heavy if colder. But still good for around those temps for me. I also have found for me go smaller for your base layer just one size smaller was great for me.

Returned

One of the plastic snap buttons broke the first time I unbuttoned it. If this had regular buttons I might have sewn it back on and kept the shirt. I didnt like the bulky flimsy plastic snaps.

Also dont like the bright orange "Firstlite" being written across the back. It really stands out on the black color. Needs much smaller font or nothing at all on the back. Also the chest logo is too large.

The fit, feel, stitching and overall construction is great. I love Henley shirts and wear Merino wool around town, backpacking, hunting, fishing, and was heartbroken when I received this shirt. It was already my new favorite shirt before I got it but returned it for the above reasons.

Wish I could wear it daily

This is a great baselayer our a close second layer over a lighter baselayer. The microfiber wool is soft and does not cause any irritation when its next to skin. This layer will come on all hunts with me.
