Bought this jacket for mild morning bird hunts. Tried it out for the first time last week and was impressed. Did a great job keeping the chill & moisture off without the bulk. Definitely recommend it.
I ended up purchasing the jacket in the Cipher pattern as I felt this pattern was perfect for breaking up my form. Also I felt the colour scheme perfect for blending into the Manitoba environment when hunting late season turkeys and waterfowl. I ordered a large jacket and it arrived in under 2 weeks. It fit well and has enough room for base layers on those colder morning in the blind. I was able to wear a light puffy style coat under the Corrugate Jacket and was able to draw my bow without any issues. So far I have crawled on my stomach through a field to stalk a deer, pushed some thick bush and the jacket held up. I do have a short draw and the sleeves are a bit long but the elastic cuffs solve that making it a very comfortable fit. Definitely sold on First Lite and I credit my first archery deer to their product.
5 nights in the high country hunting mule deer. Jacket was perfect .. dries quickly.. wind proof!!!!!
Pretty good fit overall. The sleeves are long for me but that happens regularly to me because I am a short guy with a big chest. All materials are nice. I can tell I will be hunting in it for years to come.
I’ve worn this jacket for farm work to turkey hunting. Barbed wire, buck brush, thorn bushes it’s been through it all and not a tear anywhere! The dwr finish is great for wet mornings or light rain. The athletic cut makes this jacket great for about anything.
This jacket is awesome. The cut and material make it extremely comfortable and something you look forward to wearing.
Great jacket! Durable, comfortable, and looks great. gives great protection while maintaining breathability. Love it!
Bought this as a protective shell over my insulation layers for a September moose hunt in western Alaska. It fit great and allows the user to move around with ease. I was in and out of alder, bucks brush, and regular bushes, and it looks unscathed. So far it seems to be very durable. Held off light drizzles from time to time when a rain jacket wasn't needed. The fit is fairly athletic, but gives enough stretch to allow for layering. I'm Really happy I got it. Would not hesitate to purchase it again. Great job First Lite.
I got this jacket to use for early deer and upland small game/bird hunting. When I got out of the package I thought there was no way a jacket this thin was going to be warm or cut the wind much below about 60 degrees. I tried it out fishing last weekend where the temps were in the 40's in the morning with a light breeze blowing. With only a T-shirt underneath, I was warm and comfortable. Yet later in the day when the temps rose to the 70's I wasn't sweating in it either. I like how small it packs down; I can easily stuff it in the side pocket of my hunting pack.
I'm between a 2x and 3x and this one needed to be a 3x for me. Unfortunately they don't come in 3x, only 2 other jacket/coates do so I was SOL. Now my son has a sweet jacket which doesn't make me fat and happy but fat and jealous.
