Love these things. My feet run hot, but they don't get wet even in hot weather with these socks. Cuff is better than their other socks. Buy these ones!
These socks are perfection!!! After fighting hot spots on my heels all preseason in my new boots, I finally bought a pair of these to try one last solution before giving up on my boots altogether...I couldn't be happier!!! First time out, I put 8 miles on them, and my heels weren't even hinting at a hot spot! They are light enough for the warm early season hunts here in AZ, but still have enough thickness that I imagine they'll be fine into some colder temps. The collar up around the calf holds tight and doesn't slip or bunch at all. As for sizing, I wear a 14-Narrow, so I rarely find socks that fit perfectly! Bought these in L and they were great...the heel was exactly where it was supposed to be, but it still hugged my foot snugly. In short, these are the best socks I've ever hiked in, and I can't imagine I'll ever head out without a pair of FirstLite socks on my feet ever again!!!
11.6 miles hiked the first time using these socks. The initial fit feels amazing. They’re tight where they need to be and soft in the others. It was very hot on the hike, yet my feet stayed dry the entire time. They didn’t stretch out throughout the day like most socks either. After the hike was done they still stayed up on my calf and didn’t bunch down in my boots. I highly recommend everyone to try these.
Currently in the middle of a crazy heat wave in the northeast. Close to 100 degrees here today with above 90 percent humidity. My feet run hot so I wanted to see what these could do. Normally run the compression sock and will work up a sweat even at mild temperatures. Well after a few miles with a weighted pack I can say these did an excellent job of keeping my feet cool and pretty dry. Paired With Crispi Idaho boots they really kept my feet as comfortable as could be expected in this weather.
first off, i have had first lite sock since 2010, and have loved them ever since. every season, i have a pair of FL socks.
recently i have always worn the compression socks, but was SUPER excited that the mercury socks were coming out. once they were on the site, i ordered several pairs.
these socks are 1 piece, no seam, added padding to the toe and heel, arch support, of and did i mention, THEY ACTUALLY STAY ON YOUR CALVES ALL DAY!
Great job first lite!
