Comfortable and light

I've been using this as my next to skin for early goose hunting in MN and love it. This piece has been great on damp mornings sitting still in a treeline starting in the mid 50's and working into the 70's by late morning when paired with a Kiln hoody or Klamath over it. Usually I take the Kiln or Klamath off and keep this on to move full body decoys back into storage after a morning hunt and am comfortable as it starts to warm up. Luckily we haven't had any sweltering 80 degree humid mornings this year but I know I would be comfortable using this as a single layer in those temps.

Early season shirt

I have tested these in the field and was impressed. Great mobility, light weight and breath well in the hot humid early season here in northeast Oklahoma.

I am a slim moderat build so the first light sizing are pretty spot on. Sleeves for the shirt are a bit long but no big issue for me.

Overall this will be a versitile shirt. I can see my self taking these out West as well as some fall and Spring backpack trips in the woods. They are quiet for the material they are made of, I see no issue for my white tail hunts this comming season.

Fit Comments: Sleeve length and hem length are perfect. Girth around arms and middle are good, possibly just a touch on the loose side for my lanky frame. Perfect for a warm weather baselayer in my mind.
Location: The mountains
Primary Use: Turkey hunting, elk hunting, hiking, camping, casual weekend wear
Most Comfortable Shirt I Own

I used the wick LS crew as my base layer for a 4-day spring turkey hunt this year. I've worn the llano QZ, chama QZ, kiln hoody, plus merino pieces from IB and merino blend pieces from BO. The wick LS crew tops them all in comfort and performance. After 4 hot days hiking the hills in Eastern Washington, I packed up camp and put on a soft, clean cotton t-shirt. Oddly enough, the very comfortable cotton t-shirt struck me as less comfy than the wick I'd been wearing all weekend. I took off the t-shirt and put the wick back on for the drive home. It's just that comfy, and odor-free, even after 4 days sweating in the heat. It dries noticeably faster than the pure merino pieces (and faster than 50/50 merino/synth blends from a different company) and feels as close to a second skin as anything I've worn. Having purchased the "crew" version of this shirt and having previously owned the llano QZ, I was concerned I'd miss the quarter zip during high-exertion, but the aerowool is light and airy enough that I never missed the zipper in spring sun with highs around 80. Can't wait to use this for elk in September. I'm going to get some solid color aerowool pieces for everyday use, too, because I literally want to never take this thing off.

Awesome for Early Season Archery

Very nice for the early archery hunt in August when the heat can make things miserable. Great at wicking perspiration and keeping you cool. Great camo, also!

Product Size: L
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 180lbs - 190lbs
Fit Comments: Wristbands become a little stretched out with wear, but regain elasticity after a wash.
never take it off!

I wore this thing during Colorado archery, MD sika archery in the swamps, and bird hunting across have the US. extremely versatile. Recommend buying 2 or 3. I only had one. I could get 3 days of heavy sweating before it became a bit to gross to wear. Still, never held and odor as long as you dried it out.
