These pants are great for staying cool while covering lots of ground. The sizing is a bit wonky (I wear 38's in Levis and had to order 42's) but once you find the right size, you can live in these pants they are so comfortable. They have plenty of stretch and the rubber letters on the waistband keep them in place nicely. My favorite use for these pants is to wear on long hikes into the tree stand in late season when you're carrying lots of gear and trying not to sweat. Once at the tree, I throw a set of sanctuary bibs over top of them and can stay comfortable all day. They are also my go-to's when scouting as they've stood up to some pretty harsh abuse this season and are still flawless. I'm impressed how pants this thin can be this durable.
Took these out and ran them through the paces about 5 miles each day for 3 days scouting between shotgun and muzzleloader season. Snow on the ground and temps in the mid 20s to low 30s with merino baselayer underneath. Followed first light chart to order up a size I normally wear 34 ordered 36 and I can fit light base layer with no issues or tuck an extra shirt in for the early season with them still comfortable in the waist. They are a bit noisy but a few washes and they are already getting softer, and the swoosh sound is getting better. I like the rubbery inner band to keep them in place.
Fit was really weird on me I tried two sizes one was too tight one was way to baggy
These pants are awesome but not for silent hunting. Also, if you're a guy with bigger legs order a size or two up. I normally wear a 34 but ordered a 36 and they are still tight in the legs and rear. I think i should have ordered 38's.
