I just got these shorts a couple weeks ago and have seemingly lived in them ever since. They're the perfect length without being "shants" with room enough to flex and move. They're cool enough that I'm not overheating in the 90F Denver weather we have right now. I've had them everywhere from around town, around the house, and into the mountains doing some hiking and have loved them. My only negative comment is that I'm a lefty and there's no left hand butt pocket for my wallet. What gives?
These shorts are amazing, I ordered large because I have a 36 waist. They fit great there but they are longer than I would've liked, but thats what I get for being 5'6" LOL guess I need to lose some weight and get some mediums too. All in all, very high quality, don't notice how many pockets there really is, extremely happy with another FL product!
I really like the look and feel of these shorts. However, I'm 6'4", 300lbs with a 38"-40" waist and a 54" chest; I'm not a small man. The shorts fit in the waist just fine, the crotch was the issue. Per my wife "your junk will be out there for the world to see if you where those". So, i returned them to save the world from that visual. This is a common problem with all pant and short designs these days..... especially when you're a big guy with tree trunks for legs.
I recently purchased two pair of Corrugated Guide Shorts for a two week trip with my family to Hawaii. I used these shorts exclusively to surf, body board, snorkel and swim in all day long. I used them on short and long hikes into the mountains and jungle and they breathe very well in 85-90 degree temperatures with very high humidity. They would then dry out very quickly and I would wear them for dinners out in the evening.
I am not easily impressed with clothing quality, but these are the best shorts I’ve ever worn.
The small zippered pocket on the left leg kept my car keys available while out and about and they kept my house keys available during the day while I was enjoying the water sports.
Don’t be afraid to wear these shorts swimming, hiking and any other situation you can think of. You won’t be disappointed.
