Staff Systems: Spring Scouting
Duke Wasteney: Customer Service Rep.
"Early scouting is generally spent with temperatures anywhere from 40 degrees in the mornings to mid 80's in the afternoon. I like using the Wick Short Sleeve as my go-to baselayer. This piece will dry out extremely fast if you are working up a sweat. The Fuse Quarter Zip is generally my midlayer and works well during the morning while I'm on the move or when I need more insulation during a rainstorm. The Fuse QZ packs down well and goes into my pack when I need to shed a layer. I like having the Catalyst Jacket in case weather moves in while glassing, and I always keep the Vapor Jacket with me if we happen to get heavy rain. The Wick Long Boxer briefs paired with the Corrugate Guide Pants are my go to covering lots of ground during the spring, summer, and early season."
