Honestly one of my best hunting purchases I’ve ever made. Sounds stupid but it manages heat when you’re walking out to a stand and holds it in during the post rut chill. I highly recommend it.
Just hunted the last two days of deer gun season in Ohio. When I made it to the stand before daylight it was hovering just above 20 degrees. Day time temps forecasting in the mid-30's but with winds 10-15mph from the south and south east. After sweating bullets getting to the stand, I was chilled to the bone within the hour and was so grateful to have this piece to keep the chill away from my neck, face and head. This made the next couple of hours tolerable until I tagged the biggest doe I've ever seen. The fit was excellent, the weight was perfect for the conditions and I really couldn't be happier. Thank you for an excellent product. I hope you can make them in the USA going forward.
Just returned from hunting in PA. I wore this for my face covering not really anticipating it to provide protection but I was AMAZED at how in 30+ mph winds, a foot of snow, and some pretty cold temps, my face stayed protected. It’s so light that I never thought it would really do much but it’s what I had on me. Another excellent FL product.
I have an 18” neck size. Most gaiters I have purchased do not fit. In fact, I call them chokers. However, this gaiter is different. It is the softest and most comfortable gaiter I have ever owned and I have a closet full that I can not comfortably wear. If you have a large neck don’t hesitate to make this purchase.
Have gone with wool for years so I upgraded from a fleece neck gaiter. Love the versatility and the temperature regulation that wool provides. Also folds up smaller so stashing it in the pocket when not in use is easier.
Perfect fit and warmth. Allot of other gaiters I have tried are always to time and become uncomfortable after a while. This gaiter has the right amount of stretch to stay snug but not to tight. I could wear this all day.
Mid-October with temperatures ranging from high 50's to mid 20's. The Midweight Neck Gaiter was the perfect piece of gear to complete my camouflage. I wear it with a hat, and it has great stretch, covering the entire neck all the way up over the top of my ears, head, and nose. It was warm enough to keep me comfortable in cold temperatures, yet cool enough to keep me from overheating in warm temperatures. It offered the perfect final touch of concealability for sitting in a ground blind (windows open) hunting whitetail. I would recommend this product to anyone, you will not be disappointed!
Mid-October and we already have lows in the high 30s and highs in the 70s. This gaiter has a huge amount of stretch for my head and covered my ears well. Extremely comfortable to wear, breathable, blends in with the other camo, and kept my ears nice and warm when it was cold. It wasn't hot at all in the warmer temps either. Very pleased and now wondering why I tool so long to get one!
Wore this in temperatures just at/over freezing while sitting. Had it pulled up over my ears wearing just a ball cap and was pretty comfortable. At the same time, when it warmed up in the afternoon, it was perfectly breathable to not get too warm. Didn't seem to collect moisture like others materials may. Very happy.
When I first got the gaiter, I was honestly skeptical, as it feels really lightweight and "small", looking at the package. I was pleasantly surprised however, when I took it out of the package and put it on. It has plenty of length, so you can use it many different ways around your head. It is light weight but provides plenty of warmth. I hunt Pennsylvania and feel like this will easily keep me comfortable into the mid 30's. It's not bulky at all, and I would recommend every hunter have one in their pack. I'll probably buy another just to keep in my truck as a backup honestly. Do yourself a favor and just buy it!
