These are some of the best shirts Ive ever worn. I have them in 4 colors and they are amazing. They also lock your scent in on long sweaty hunting trip. If i could afford to throw all my shirts away and just wear these everyday I would.
This is the first time I've worn any merino wool clothing. I'm 6'3" 180 with a 40" chest and 36" sleeve and a large fits PERFECT. It's close enough to the skin to layer, but can be worn alone without being a schmedium and the body length is long enough to tuck if you want to. I bought the long sleeve first and liked it so much I bought 2 of the short sleeve. I wish they made more colors as I would buy them all for casual wear. The fabric feels like part of my body and is more wind resistant that I was expecting (I was expecting none), and is definitely more than any of the Sitka base layers I've worn. It does what they say merino does, which is cools when your hot and heats when your cold, which I'm not used to so I can't wrap my head around it. I'm experimenting with wearing it under my body armor for work and so far I'm staying warm when I sweat and it's cool out. We'll see about it keeping my warm in the cold. I would wear them even more if the care of merino didn't intimidate me, but I'm sure I'll figure it out.
Like everything I have from First Lite, these shirts are awesome. Fit, comfort, moisture wicking, and everything about it is great.
Shirt fits perfect. Have been wearing on cool days during som small game hunts and shirt is not itchy and keeps you comfortable. I’m very satisfied with the quality of the shirt.
This shirt is very light and breathable. Has good movement through arms and shoulders and wicks sweat away from the body very quickly and keeps you as cool as the midday sun will allow. While I wouldn't own a closet of them because of their price, I can say that when I'm early season hunting, I wear this shirt as many times as possible.
The only base layer I’ll ever wear. Spring, summer, fall, winter....it doesn’t matter! Active or stationary, this is the shirt I have on first. Wicks moisture, keeps cool when warm, retains core body temp when cold used in conjunction with the right layers over it. I wear it just like an everyday t shirt.
California morning starts out cold and then heats up real quick. This was my first First Lite purchase and I can't tell you how well it did in the field. The shirt kept me dry when the Sun came out and it definitely kept the sweat off my body. It is my go to base layer. Will be getting a few more in couple of different colors.
Super comfortable shirt and great for warm weather hunting or just as a base layer. Use by itself for dove and quail hunting during the hot fall months in the southwest. Does run a bit small though, had to end up ordering a Large after the Medium was a little tight.
Worth every penny, you get what you pay for. Buy this shirt and you’ll want to order more in everyday colors like most first lite products. Wore this in the summer and stayed cool and wore it with my base layer in the tree stand in 10-20 degree temps. Fit is comfortable and tight fitting no need to size up or size down.
I’ve worn these on Alaskan dall sheep hunts and in the backyard flipping burgers. I have never found a t shirt more comfortable, much less with the technical chops to get the job done in the field. Great base layer or by itself on the really hot days. Mine are now approaching threadbare, but still get out on shortly after they leave the laundry room. Can’t go wrong with this one.
