First piece I bought from First Lite and won't be my last. Great piece to keep you covered but cool when its 90+ out. Fits close to body to allow great range of motion for climbing stand and drawing your bow. Hood keeps you concealed without restricting movement or sight. Can't wait to put this piece through the paces this fall.
The wick hoody is a versatile piece. I have 2 of these now and they work great at wicking away moisture and dries exceptionally quickly; when the mercury climbs it’ll keep you cool even on early season hunts with 90+ temps as well as trapping air next to skin to keep you comfortable on 50 degree mornings as a stand alone top.
Love these shirts for warm weather.
I have quite a few hooded light weight shirts from different companies and this is a really good one. Fit and materials are spot on. Looking forward to fall fishing and hunting in this one.
Just got this for turkey season and love it . Fits maybe a little on the small side around shoulder and arms . All around great product . Highly recommend !
Solid light weight base layer for deer hunting, but lately i've been wearing it while kayak fishing. I find it to be very fish slime resistant and quick to dry. Pop this thing on and start stacking slabs.
Size is great through the sleeve. The tail is long enough it stays tucked in aftera couple of hours of paddling. It has not streched out around tge neck at all. Very happy with this piece of gear so far!!!
The wick hoodie is becoming a staple in my layering system for its ability to keep you cool and warm. From the hot days in the turkey woods to running it as my next to skin base layer in single digit temps, it performs just as advertised! Also makes a great shirt to wear out on the water from cool mornings to the warmer afternoons and you don’t have to switch!
To be honest I waited a while to buy this layer, I was hesitant as it seemed a little pricey for a simple piece but I am more than happy with it. Definitely regret not buying it sooner. :) worth every penny I spent on it. I wear it ALL the time. I also sleep in this piece when I’m backpacking and it helps to regulate my temperature and I never find myself cold or sweaty. Keeps me dry and comfortable.
I have several FL products now but most are geared towards the fall or early spring. What I was looking for was something to throw on for an early morning hike on a warm day where I needed more then a T-shirt but didn't want my heavier gear. I also wanted something to go for hikes in warm weather to keep the bugs and sun off me. Lastly for kayaking I knew it would work great for sun protection.
The wick hoody delivers. It's super comfortable and stretchy, breathes well and dries quick. Hood is great for keeping the bugs and sun off you. There really are no surprises here, it does what the other reviews claim it does.
