I wore this piece around 2 weeks in the field during hunting season, and I wear it a few times a week during the colder months of North Idaho for various outdoor recreation events including: ATV riding, mountain biking, hiking, snow shoeing, and walking the dog in temperatures down into the teens. Fit is excellent, warmth is perfect (for most applications), scent protection great, and comfort is amazing. I think most folks will be very happy with their purchase. Strongly recommend!!
I purchased the kiln bottoms and I am very pleased with them they keep legs toasty and dry and like everything else I have from first lite is made very well
Warm and comfortable, but too short. It doesn’t take long for these to ride up, and wad up above your calf. Maybe if you borrow your girlfriends knee high socks you might keep them in place. Waist and everywhere else fits perfectly.
Ran these for three straight days of tracking cougars on snowshoes and they were perfect. Wore them under corrugate pant and brambler gaiters. The calf length is awesome because they don't get pulled down from the lower leg like full length base layers with the combo of gaiters and snowshoes. Highly recommend for high activity base layer.
