Super light, great fit.
With having owned tons of outdoor mountaineering and hunting gear firstlite is my top choice. Great fit, long lasting and tough.
It’s not as quiet as I’d like but when it’s raining it’s not that big of a deal. It packs small, keeps me dry and stays in my pack no matter what the forecast is.
This truly is an ultralight rain jacket. So far it has done a great job of keeping me dry. I was also pleasantly surprised at how well it contained body heat, which isn’t exactly ideal on warmer wet days but an asset on those colder wet days! I went a size larger than normal to accommodate for thicker layers in the later seasons. Considering this, the fit is exactly what I’m looking for.
Ordered this during the Spring Bear sale at FL and very happy that I did!
I hadn't ordered any outerwear from FL before hand and I was a tad concerned about size selection but I couldnt be happier with the fit of size Large.
I chose it in the Dry Earth colour as I wanted the option of throwing this on in town while walking the dog etc and camo tends to have the opposite result withing city limits.
I've only had this for a couple weeks now but so far I can tell it breathes well but also cuts the wind nicely.
Our Spring Turkey season starts later than most here in Ontario, Canada Apr25th and I'm looking forward to staying dry, comfortable and lightweight on route to my blind here shortly.
Thanks First Lite!!
