Seak rain gear

I haven’t been able to wear the jacket in a down pour yet but I know it’s going to perform as it’s supposed to. Zippers are sturdy cuffs cinch up nice. Hood is amazing. The jacket is bomb proof. Absolutley love it. Moves with you no binding can shoot my bow in it with no problem.

Might as well have just worn cotton.

There is nothing worse than having to cut a trip short because your gear fails you. Went out fishing In a light Southern California rain and within an hour the jacket was completely saturated and my merino base layers were soaked. For the amount of money paid for this jacket I am so unbelievably disappointed. I’ve spent thousands on first lite merino wool and the products never left me dissatisfied. I can’t say the same about this jacket. Such a waste of money.

My go to jacket

I've put 4 years on my seak jacket and pants. This stuff has preformed awesome in the worst conditions. The neoprene cuffs have held up much better than I thought, zippers have stayed sealed, no complaints and whenever I wear it out I'd buy it again.

I live in SE AK and am very disappointed in the jacket. It under performed greatly from the first time out steelhead fishing. For the price and the name I thought I was getting a product that can put up with the rain in SE AK, I was wrong. Each time I took it out, I was soaked within a few hours, all of my baselayers were wet and it did not hold up to the rain and wet environment. Other firstlite products have performed better for me, very disappointed in this jacket.

Proven Protection

I was looking for a replacement to my military issued Gore-Tex and this was it. Was so excited to try this out in a Ohio Rut day with pouring rains and 42° weather. Don’t think I would’ve gone out if I didn’t have this jacket. On a ground whitetail hunt standing in the pouring rain for 6hrs this jacket did exactly what I expected. Kept me bone dry until the rains let up. The hood is amazing as other reviews have pointed to, the pockets are in great locations and the fit is just right. If others complain about the noise they are not shopping for a hard shell heavy rain/downpour jacket. If you’re comparing to other brands or are on the fence don’t hesitate any more, buy THIS jacket. Money well spent!
