Super lightweight and does what it says, breaks the wind when it gets a little chilly. Awesome lightweight packable piece to have around.
This is a great little piece. Imagine it to be similar to a light weight golf pull over. I find it best as a piece I throw over my wet/sweaty clothes to keep the breeze off me when I stop after a hard hike. It’s lightweight enough I always keep it in the lid or water bottle pocket of my pack to quickly throw on. It’s not a rain piece but will shed a light drizzle. I’ll pack this spring through fall here in Montana. In the winter I’ll likely wear it in the pickup driving around or out to the bar for a drink after a long hunt.
I received this piece a few days ago and I cannot believe how light weight it is. I absolutely love the fit of this piece as well. I bought this in Fusion, but will definitely be buying one in solid to wear around when not hunting. That is how much I love it. It works very well when worn over a merino base layer. You can wear anything from the Wick to the Furnace comfortably under it. My personal favorite is to wear a Kiln Hoody underneath. I enjoy the fit and having a hood as well. 10/10 with this piece. For size reference I am 6ft even and 190ish pounds and the Large fits perfect.
Great as a stand alone and going to be great for layering! Great light weight layer for chilly mornings and cool evenings. Great fit and awesome am length.
Been using the Ridgeline pullover regularly while hitting up the trout streams this spring. It worked great to knock down the wind on an otherwise decent day. Today, I actually used it in 70° weather during a quick little rain squall while fishing. It worked perfectly to keep the water off me. While it will not hold up in a downpour, it is perfect for quick one cloud event when the Corrugate is to heavy.
